Something big is happening. This is a game changer. The biggest clinical breakthrough I’ve ever made in 23 years of practice.

The way most outpatient physical therapists treat chronic pain and dysfunction is outdated and inefficient.

As a chronic pain specialist I have seen firsthand that conventional physical therapy is not addressing the root cause of most chronic musculoskeletal pain: the nervous system.

The funny thing about most conventional treatment approaches is that they are generally proven ineffective over time.

Most physical therapists follow conventional therapies because it’s the safer professional choice. However the “safe” choice is rarely the most effective treatment option IMHO.

The traditional evidence-based approach to chronic pain management is influenced by groupthink and fails to embrace unique methodologies or breakthrough technologies.

Any evidence-based approach, by no fault of its own, contains faulty assumptions that will be subsequently challenged and uprooted by new discoveries.

The only constant in science is change. Unfortunately, the scientific textbooks and university education cannot realistically keep up with the pace of new information.

That is why it is important for clinicians to seek out new and innovative treatment approaches over the course of their clinical career.

If you are treating your chronic pain patients the exact same way this year as you were treating them last year, did you really get any better over the last 12 months?
