Make@time to vote!! Your voice matters

Here is an easy way to protect your energy-

1. Ask yourself how do you want “to be” today? For example, it could be “I want to be calm and peaceful.” (This is often my intention for the day😀)

2. Visualize a protective bubble around you. Imagine that anything that comes your way that does not align with your intention—like calmness and peace—will simply bounce off the bubble.

Using this technique isn’t about ignoring problems; it’s about responding to them with your intentional energy rather than reacting.

When I practice this, it works! Share if it helps you😊

Celebrate your wins -every day🎉

When we do this, we are training our brains to look at what is going well. We increase dopamine and reduce stress.

This is a powerful habit especially when something hasn’t gone well - we can always find something that went right.

Think small when you celebrate your wins-and you’ll start to see more and more of them 😊

For example,

You didn’t yell 😃when your kid didn’t clean their room after asking them for the 5th time but calmly responded with lost privileges,

Or you took a walk even though you didn’t have time for the gym,

Or you created time to meditate even though you’re swamped. These are all wins💪

Share a win you are celebrating!

Overcoming self-doubt is a practice✅ that I continue to work on.

Honored to share a few of my favorite tips on overcoming imposter syndrome for the Woman’s Club of Wilmette.

Don’t let self-doubt stop you—your voice is needed & we only get one life.

“Imposter syndrome” is not a DSM disease 🤣 it’s just self doubt that we ALL experience at some point.

Experts say one of the biggest regret of the dying are the things we didn’t do.

It’s OK to fail, it’s OK to suck at something new & it’s OK to not do it perfectly

What matters is that you get out of your comfort zone & try. Who agrees?!

Ever feel like an imposter?!

I certainly have -and most of us do at times.

But just because we may experience feelings of self-doubt, it shouldn’t stop us from using our voice or doing what really want to do.

Come learn practical strategies to overcome imposter syndrome!

Good reminder from my Yogi tea bag🩷

When we look at something or someone through our heart, we see more Who agrees?

Grateful for these amazing women who showed up for my retreat & loved how they for showed up for themselves🙏

They were so open to challenging anything that is stopping them from creating more joy & peace in their lives🙏

We did a lot of “thought” work - which is such a powerful practice-& has positively changed my life in so many areas.

I received a text from a retreat participant this morning who said,

“I had an ‘aha’ about a thought that is preventing me from moving on…” 👏

Once we get really clear in our thinking about what thoughts are stopping us…we can move towards the direction that is calling us.

When life gets hard or you’re stuck-

Asking a simple question like “what can bring me joy today?”and then doing that thing can massively shift your energy.

When I was very burned out working as an attorney, I wrote this question this everyday and followed my answers.

I got so much happier even though nothing external changed!

And today what’s bringing me joy is preparing for my retreat tomorrow -with my notebooks that just came in! ⬇️

What can you joy TODAY?

Want more peace & joy in your life?

I know I do! 😀

Start by getting clear.

Create the time and space to hear your own wisdom.

Our inner voice always helps us with the next right step.

Meditation is one practice that can help-whether it’s silent, guided, set to music or a led by a gong practitioner- like we will be having at my retreat this weekend ⬆️

Tell me if meditation helps you with clarity?
