Today I was reminded again what a privilege it is to coach. I am blessed for being able to witness a very small part of each child’s journey. Thank you to the athletes, their families, all the volunteers, coaches, competitors … just so very many people who make it happen.❤️

A perfect night for racing was had! Thanks a million to IL Prep Top Timing for running a tight ship! Our brilliant coaches, volunteers, loud and proud supporters, and courageous athletes who boldly raced where they had not chosen to go 😉 and set loads of new PB's!

Congratulations to Ani, Zoe, and Demi on their outstanding performances at the Chicago Metropolis Junior Olympics Track & Field Championships!

Representing St. Demetrios, these athletes compete in a wide variety of events each year and continue to demonstrate enthusiasm, versatility, and a love for the sport.

We are proud of all they accomplished and look forward to seeing what comes next. Great job, girls!

At 23 years old, Coach Max just ran an 18:47 5K — an impressive performance by any standard, but even more meaningful considering an injury cut short his collegiate running career.

One thing we love about our coaches is that they don't just teach perseverance, discipline, and hard work — they live it.

Congratulations to Ben on his first IESA Championship meet! As a 7th grader, he placed 2nd in the 1600M and big PR of 4:54 and 4th place with a PR in the 800, 2:10!

Congratulations to Brynn and Zayn on fantastic races at the Soldier Field 10 today!

Both athletes ran incredibly well — Brynn averaging a 6:07 pace (38:06) and finishing 3rd overall, while Zayn averaged a 6:40 (41:23) pace and won the 14 & Under age group!

Tough, confident racing from both athletes. Proud of you both!
