I think this was around 1995 in Mexico City. My good friend Roberto Rojas and I climbed the El Sol pyramid (see second pic). It was an epic trip to Mexico City, where we forged many great friendships and connections between players in Mexico and the United States.

While going through boxes I haven’t opened in decades, I found these great posters.

Here’s a few from the shoebox of old pics. Early 90s. Me and Sang Lee, me with Byong Soo Kim and Sang Lee, me with Mike Bengels and Mazin Shooni, me with Frank Torres, and a solo shot. Lee, Kim, and Torres are deceased; all three were wonderful men whom I miss dearly.

Before BCA Hall of Fame Member Charles Ursitti passed away, he painstakingly documented the history of pool and billiards. Ursitti analyzed thousands of documents, newspaper clippings, magazines, and tournament results and published his findings in multiple volumes. His wish and request of me was to make sure these volumes were published digitally and made available for free for anyone who wants to read them. This is a reminder that the volumes remain published on my Scribd account, and remain free to read without a subscription. I miss Charlie and our weekly telephone calls. I have referred to these volumes hundreds of times and hope that you will check them out.

Here is the entire set of scorecards from the 2005 IPT King of the Hill tournament in Orlando. Two cards for every game. All original signatures on each card including all the hall of fame players! It’s hard to believe that was 17 years ago. Over 160 matches, 300+ cards. Incredible collection of signatures and information.
