Don't forget the Meeka💪🏿 challenge begins 1 Jan. Run/walk 1 mile EVERYDAY for the month of Jan. I know some of yall will sleep in on the 1st, like myself. But complete that mile before you go to bed. I don't care what time you do it. Or if you take it a quarter mile at a time. I just want you to do it.

These were the last two leg exercises I did. Prior I did 15 min very slow walk 1.6mph, some squats, lunges, side leg raises, side steps. I was moving mad slow cause I was mad tired and tried not to over do it. I know I listed a lot, everything I did was legit rehab exercises. I did either 2 rounds of 10 or only one set of 10. Very proud of myself. Afterwards I SAT down. Lol lol

The only way to get better is to get through. As I recently heard Kevin Hart say, "take care of yourself while you have a choice vs. Having to take care of yourself because you have NO choice.

And yes sometimes life just happens like me, but if it wasn't for me pressing through before, there is no way I'll be able to do anything I listed above. God is always there in the midst of it all.

I promise this was hard to do because I had to stop myself from crying and looking at the negative of what I couldn't do, but remind myself of what I COULD do. My left side is much weaker and my left hand, arm and wrist don't want to play their assigned roles. But we all have to push through. When I asked Q to help me put on the glove I had started crying. He was like what's wrong. In my head everything. This sucks. But I sucked it up and did my workout. I might not be able to what I could before everyday. But what I can do, I will do.
This will not defeat me but I will defeat it.
I am HEALED,, I am WHOLE, I am RESTORED!!

12 reps each AMRAP
Around the world with leg lifts
Frog crunches
Plank hip dips
Dead bugs
Bear hold/walk

16 reps each, alternating.
Frog crunches
Heel toe touch
Glute marches
Standing front leg raise
Standing lateral leg raise
Side bends
Plank hip dips

Want a challenge, add weights and resistance bands. ENJOY!!!

I said I will do something today as a celebration to making it to 43 years in a few weeks. I refuse to sit still, unless it's needed or course! Here's to my first "major" workout. Leg day because why not. Of course the jumping jack's were modified because I can't jump. Anywho... let's go!!! The shirt was a constant reminder, "I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST!"

I was able to complete a full workout today, yay!!!!!! That is great news, right?! However, there was struggle. It took a lot longer and not having full use of my left hand really really I mean really bites. My son said you look miserable. Cause my hand isn't functioning the way I want it to. I know i can lift heavier but I don't have the grip to. Reminding myself that it's ok, it will get better day by day. Today I completed the workout but not without it's challenges. And guess what, that is okay. I have to stay somewhere. WE have to start somewhere.
