In the past 30 days I’ve been being more aware of portion control and sticking loosely to a macro based eating plan. I haven’t worked out besides some pushups and some presses while at my desk. A few walks outside (which I need to do more of).

In 30 days I have dropped approx 10 pounds. Still have a ways to go but on the right track. If I have a craving, I don’t deny myself but am not feeding those cravings on every occurrence.

Small steps forward and staying focused.

Ortho office called today and will be scheduling hip replacement surgery in the next few weeks. Looking forward to getting on the .

Getting back on track this year with my heath and fitness.

Taking steps necessary to drop 50lbs and start living again. Being stuck behind a desk, lack of movement, eating unecessary portions of foods, and going days on end without leaving the house has lead to feelings of depression. The joys of things are gone and now it’s just day in and day out of monotonous routines.

Using to track macros so I can see what I am putting into my body. After my first Dr appt for an upcoming hip replacement, my blood pressure was 139/68. It was a wake up call. Upon looking more at nutrition info, I was eating precooked chicken daily for lunch and without ever noticing, I was consuming over 1300mg of sodium in that meal alone. Eliminated that from diet for two weeks and at next appt blood pressure had dropped to 130/68.

Not being extremely strict because I know myself and I know I will binge when I completely restrict myself on certain food groups. Moderation and being aware is 🔑.

Today’s breakfast is:
6oz Lean Ground Turkey 99% lean.
105g egg whites
1 large egg
A few dashes of homemade hot sauce made by
2 packers of Juice Plus Complete Chocolate shake

Got some new lever arms to add onto my rig. Loving the different ways to hit muscle groups with these things.

Feels so nice to sit in a theatre and eat popcorn.

Home gym is complete. Spartan season starting this weekend in JAX. Who’s ready to resume racing?? I know I can’t wait to get on the course and start coaching obstacle workshops.

coming together. Picked up some of the flooring and still need to mount folding rack into concrete but when toddler doesn’t nap, you can’t get everything finished. Until next time!

Today’s stats as of now. I like the tone feature where the band listens to the tone of your voice and gives you feedback on your mood. You can definitely get a feel for what type of person you are emotional by how you speak throughout the day.
