In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will be postponing this year's Recorrido del Sol for a later and safer date. We hope that you are all well and safe during this time. TODAY IS THE ! Polls close at 7PM. Make sure to have your voice heard!

Some tips for staying safe at the polls:
-Use hand sanitizer before AND after using the voting machines/equipment.
-Use disinfectant wipes to wipe down surfaces (polls are cleaning their equipment regularly but just in case you want to be more secure).
-If there is access, wash your hands at the polls.
-Leave space between you and the next person while waiting in line, at least 6 feet.
- Most importantly, be kind to yourself and each other. There is nothing easy about the current pandemic, but it is important to be kind to each other and do the right thing for the next person in line, which is to follow safety protocols.

On May 3rd, 2020, we will celebrate the 9th Annual Recorrido del Sol 5K Run/Walk! Join us and other runners from all over Chicago as we run for a common cause, education equity for all!

The 2020 Recorrido del Sol 5K Run/Walk is a fundraiser for the Fiesta del Sol Guadalupe A. Reyes Scholarship. The Recorrido del Sol is a initiative started by Pilsen Neighbors Community Council, Senorita Fiesta del Sol 2015, and the Illinois Dream Fund scholarship.
