Berger Park Advisory Council The Berger Park Advisory Council is a community organization that supports the programs at Berger Park.

Berger Park was developed because of early proponents of developing street-end beaches and parks on Chicago's north side, Berger Park has become a neighborhood icon. 🌻 Berger Park Advisory Council members Barbara Button and Toni Kibort met with Carlos Ramirez-Rosa, the new Chicago Park District General Superintendent & CEO, at the April PAC Conference.

Superintendent Ramirez-Rosa announced the Park District's new campaign, Project Monarch. Milkweed seeds were passed out to the attendees. What a great day to talk parks! 🌿

Join our arts partners Nothing Without a Company for yoga on Saturdays 10am and Zumba on Wednesdays at 730pm!

Spring Self-Care classes are BACK!!! Join us at Berger Park Cultural Center on Saturdays 10am-11am for Yoga and Wednesdays 7:30pm-830pm to get your move on. These classes are for all folks, all levels and all shapes. 🌈

Berger Park Community Garden Volunteers are working this week Monday May 21 from 9:30 am -12:30pm and Wednesday 5/23 too! We meet on the North side of the park. We have gloves and supplies. Stop by, say "Hi" and dig in!

Our Berger Park Community Butterfly Native Pollinator Garden needs neighbors who want to improve the ecology of our community. If you want to get into the garden and help us this season, sign up at the south mansion or contact Park Advisory Council president, Ray Wohl (Facebook). Join your neighbors at Berger Park, 6205 N. Sheridan Rd. on Wed. April 12 from 10:30AM to 12Noon for a highly informative talk by John Holden, President of the Edgewater Historical society, joined by Architect Thom Greene and local park activist Paul Boyd, "40 years of Edgewater beach erosion as lake levels change and how does our past prepare us for our future? They will be joined by a special guest, John Green, who will sing his original song, "Lake Michigan." All invited.
