Introducing our founder, Mohamad! π (Mo, Ω

Mohamad, a Lebanese-American, discovered his passion for Dabke during college. It all started when a group of amazing Palestinian friends invited him to join them. Their group, Baladna, quickly gained popularity, performing at events, coaching students, and even competing in national festivals!
In 2022, Mohamad moved to Chicago and was captivated by the vibrant Middle Eastern/Arab community. After months of planning and research, he launched Al Sham Dabke.
