While abdominal training strengthens your core muscles (important), it will NOT shrink your waist.
Losing fat that covers your ab muscles will (proper diet, more calories expanded than ingested, HIIT training, etc). Bam!

Weight Loss Logistics:
The more muscle you have (strength training) the more calories you burn at rest (sleeping, sitting watching Netflix, etc, doing virtually nothing…your muscles do all the calorie burn!)
Having more muscles increases your metabolism thus reducing fat. Bingo! Sounds better than starving yourself via restricted dieting, countless cardio sessions and feeling miserable as a result of it all☹️ .
But…. nutrition is super vital and your food choices matter greatly as well. You can’t out train or cardio your way out of crappy eating.
