Motherhood has changed so much, but I’m realizing I don’t have to disappear inside of it.

Some days I’m able to get ready, look cute and bring my daughters to a restaurant (maybe even indulge in an espresso martini or mimosa 😉) while others look like cold coffee, one-handed meals, and breastfeeding at the table… and honestly? those moments deserve to be normalized too.

Still a wife.
Still a friend.
Still me.
Just softer now. ✨

POSTPARTUM PREECLAMPSIA

After being discharged with a clean bill of health BOTH pregnancies I still needed to monitor my blood pressures and BOTH times resulted in being readmitted to the hospital with preeclampsia and requiring a magnesium drip for 24 hours to reduce the risk of seizures. Thankful for listening to my body and the close eye my medical team provided. Unfortunately there is a lot of unknown regarding the diagnosis so it is that much more important to let other women know what to look for and ask about.

We did it! Embracing my new normal with 2 daughters. Fun at the park was a success!

My only regret about this past Mother’s Day weekend is not taking enough pictures-(luckily I have these gems in obsessed with thanks to .)

But that’s always the trade off it seems when choosing to be completely present and soak in all the love around me. My husband and daughters truly spoiled me all weekend. A massage. Slow pace. Good eats. Quality time. Family walks. Baby (& toddler) snuggles. So blessed.
