Canelo Álvarez, 35, will return to the ring on Sept. 12, headlining a “Mexico Against the World” card in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in celebration of Mexican Independence Day. While his opponent and the rest of the lineup have not yet been announced, Turki Alalshikh indicated that Álvarez is expected to compete for a world title in the main event.
