The Hitmen were back in action tonight taking a big 16-3 win over the Illinois Nationals largely backed by a Thomas Spengler grand slam that is still currently being monitored by air traffic control! The Hitmen head into a double header this Sunday looking to stay hot! 10 am against the Westchester Chargers at Prairie State College and then 2:30 pm against the 2nd City Redbirds at Oil City Stadium

The Hitmen take a huge opening day win over the Joliet Padres! Winning it in Hitmen fashion and putting up a barrage of 15 hits scoring 17 runs! The Hitmen turned 3 double plays and the pitching staff only allowed 1 hit!
The Hitmen player of the game goes to CF Dane McDonald! He went an incredible 4-4 with 5 RBI!
