First and foremost, I want to thank everyone on the frontlines, keeping us safe, healthy, educated, supplied and fed; we appreciate your superhero efforts! The election results have been officially published and, unfortunately, I came in second by the slimmest margin. I want to congratulate Regina Mescall on her victory; she and I both beat "the machine" which is no easy feat.

I am so incredibly grateful for Johnny and Tighe, both of whom are saints for living with me throughout this process; I could not have pushed forward this far without them. To all of our friends and family, I am humbled by your generosity. By donating your valuable time and hard-earned money, we were able to run a clean campaign and garner over 12,500 votes; for this overwhelming support, I thank you!

In light of all of the things happening around us, I will leave you with one of my favorite quotes:

"Life's too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forgive the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it would be worth it." -- Dr. Suess

Cheers to the next adventure, whatever that may be!

From my family to yours, please stay safe and healthy.
-- Lauren

With everything happening in the world around us, we want to first and foremost thank all of the people working extremely hard to keep us safe, healthy, supplied, educated, and fed. In the middle of the chaos of COVID-19, we are extremely grateful for and humbled by the many calls, texts, and messages checking on election results. As of today, the race is too close to call; with only 10 votes separating the leader from myself. No winner has been declared in our race because there are great number of mail-in ballots still being tabulated. Therefore, we may not have a result for a while yet to go. We will post an update as soon as we have some more definitive information.

More importantly, as election night came and went, our priorities shifted to helping those around us. Please send lots of prayers for a local firefighter family and their little girl who is battling for her life right now. There is a go-fund-me page set up for her; I will post the link in the comments.

Additionally, we have been practicing social distancing while still trying to help keep our small businesses afloat. Please consider shopping at our neighborhood grocery stores and ordering from our local restaurants. Perhaps now is the time to buy a gift card, to be used at a later date, from your favorite salon, shoe store, book store and any other place not operating.

Please feel free to post a link to your local business and let people know how they can show their support; we are rooting for you!

Sending one more huge high five and thank you, to all of our nurses, doctors, hospital staff, police, firefighters, paramedics, grocery store employees, truck drivers, teachers, senior citizen facilitators, and to so many others working tirelessly to pull us through. From our family to yours, we are grateful.

Although we are apart, we are in this together. Stay safe and healthy.

- Lauren, Johnny and Tighe

Enough is enough...

Lauren began her legal career in a courtroom and she loved every minute of it. She participated in countless bench trials and, on a daily basis, Lauren handled a complex, heavy volume motion call. Later in her career, Lauren was a hearing officer for numerous years, where she decided the outcomes of over 1,000 cases. As a hearing officer, she was known for being firm but extremely fair and patient; with an excellent temperament and wonderful “courtroom” demeanor.

Beyond the 16 years of law practice and her vast amount of legal experiences that qualify her to become a judge, Lauren Glennon has been found “RECOMMENDED” by a number of Bar Associations (in no specific order):

The Cook County Bar Association
The Chicago Council of Lawyers
The Le***an and Gay Bar Association
The Hellenic Bar Association
The Puerto Rican Bar Association
The Arab American Bar Association

Endorsed by:
FOP Lodge 7
IAFF Local 2
Polish American Police Association (PAPA)
Roofers and Waterproofers Local 11
Cook County Sheriff’s Police Lodge 4

Lauren Glennon is more than qualified to be a Cook County Circuit Court Judge; it’s time get out and vote and show her the support she’s earned.
