There is a time & place for medicationā but letās let the 90ās die with the 90ās when we used to take 2-5 Advil just to survive practice. It didnāt bode well for a lot of us!
If your gymnast is in pain, she needs to get evaluated by a physician & 99.9% of the time is lacking strength, stability, & mobility to do gymnastics.
Yes, conditioning is great for sport specific training.
Butārehab is what gets to the nitty gritty and the root of why sheās hurting to begin with.
Advil isnāt going to fix it, neither is a brace or ice, or adjustments or scrapingā¦
Rehab is often the most skipped step because it requires your gymnast to do the extra work to get better⦠but you know what, work works!
Itās why you donāt see a single high-level gymnast or college gymnast skipping rehab or recovery. They do extra outside the gym, so they can thrive in the gym & stay healthy to train and compete.
š¤øComment āHEALā if Advil has become your gymnasts whole identity⦠if sheās hurting, sheās already injured or on the verge of an injury and I have a program to get her out of the cycle!
