Winter 2018 Newsletter First, I want to welcome all the new members to the GOTC!  We have had an influx of new memberships which means our family and mission is growing, not just in the United States but globally! 

North Branch Tree climbing will be hosting a free Kids Climb as part of the Illinois Tree Climbing Competition. Tomorrow September 22. It will be held in the Forest Preserves of Cook County at Saint Paul woods. 6506 Oakton, Morton Grove IL. Grove #1. Come out and support these industrial athletes compete in five different events including: Aerial Rescue, belayed speed climb, throw line, and a work climb.

Great to see parents experience exciting, outside adventures with their kids. Here is a Mom and Daughter tandem climbing the Saint Paul Tree.

Great birthday climb at the Saint Paul Tree. Friends and family showed great perseverance and ascended high into the great white oak.

Busse Woods tree climb.

Celebrated a birthday at the Saint Paul Tree. Boys got to climb multiple routes, open a present in the Tree Boat, and eat a tree cookie. Yum!!!

We were treated to another beautiful climb at the Saint Paul Tree. Last time we were here the tree had yet to leaf out. Now filled out with the leaves offers a different experience. Fun just hanging in the tree boat aloft hidden in the canopy. Next climb at this location is June 30th. Contact [email protected] for more info.

The weather cooperated and we had a fun day climbing at Busse Woods. Our next scheduled climb is June 3rd at Saint Paul Woods in Morton Grove. We still have some spots for the 12:30 and 2:30 climbs. Come out, climb, and experience nature from a different perspective.
