We’re gonna be toasting shots to Sam, who loved Jersey Shore (and shots) more than anyone, at the show on Monday. It’s a simple way to honor all the love and energy she gave CAMP, and to thank her.
I really miss her lately. And while I don’t like doing grief on Instagram (or in real life tbh) I felt compelled to simply say that I miss her, because I know lots of us do. I’m learning that the holidays can be super hard for those grieving, and lately I’ve gone back and forth between feeling festive and excited, and down in the dumps. I think both are totally valid, but it’s a fricken rollercoaster. I have so many memories with Sam, which Facebook loves to remind me of, so at least once a week something pops up. Seeing those pictures either feels like sunshine on my face, or like trying to wake up from a bad dream. But I believe it was JWOW who said “do not fear death, fear a life unlived”, and at least I can say, with certainty, that our girl Sam lived in a very big way. CAMP is still a testament to that, so I’m trying to make this last show as big and festive and fun as I can. Cheers homies! 🥂💝✨

I love this time of year and I love an excuse to wear a costume, or a wig, or a hat. Wearing a dumb hat will always make me think of Sam ❤️ I miss her, so I’m gonna keep trying to honor her and feel her spirit by throwing fun comedy shows.
