“This is where the magic happens.
Not on stage. Not in costumes.
But right here… in rehearsals, hard work, corrections, and determination.
These dancers are putting in the work and it shows. 🩰✨”

“Not beginners… not quite advanced… but RIGHT where the magic happens ✨
Our intermediate jazz class is where dancers grow in confidence, strength, and performance—and you can see it!

We are excited to announce our 2026 Teacher’s Assistant for the Pre-Dance & Pre-Ballet classes!

Jenny Onderko will begin on April 4, working alongside Miss Joanna as her assistant and helping lead our youngest dancers during recital preparations. We are proud to see Jenny step into this leadership role within our program.

Jenny is currently in 7th grade and has been dancing for about 8–9 years. She began dancing in 2015 at just 3 years old in the Creative Movement class with Ms. Rachel Burton, founder of the NEIU Community Dance Program.

One of Jenny’s favorite memories in the program was joining jazz class with Mr. Drew, where she had the opportunity to learn a new dance style while building many wonderful friendships with fellow dancers.

She especially enjoys the yearly recital, from learning the choreography to trying on costumes with her friends. For Jenny, it’s amazing to see how everything comes together in the end, and performing on stage while receiving encouragement from the audience makes the experience truly special.

One of Jenny’s proudest moments in her dance journey has been improving her turns and performing confidently on stage.

What are Jenny’s future goals in dance and in life?
“My future goal in dancing and in life is to inspire others to want to do better. I hope that one day at least one person will look up to me and truly feel encouraged to become a better version of themselves.”

Please join us in congratulating Jenny as she begins this exciting new role in our dance program! ✨

Grace starts at the barre.
Pliés may look simple, but they are the foundation of every jump, turn, and extension. Strength. Control. Discipline.
This is where real dancers are built. 🩰

Please welcome our newest instructor, Ally Bradley! ✨
Ally is a Chicago-based professional dancer, performer, and dance instructor with experience both locally and abroad. She trained at the Ruth Page School of Dance, where she developed a strong technical foundation and a love for working with young dancers. During her time there, she supported classes from Pre-Ballet through Ballet II and especially cherished inspiring the youngest students as they discovered the joy of movement.
In 2024, Ally joined Chicago Contemporary Dance Theater as an instructor, teaching students of all ages in Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, and Jazz. She also serves as a substitute teacher for both the Ruth Page School of Dance and NEIU Community Ballet classes during the week.
Known for her high-energy presence, creativity, and passion for performance, Ally brings an encouraging, positive teaching style that helps dancers build confidence while developing strong technique. Her classes are engaging, supportive, and full of enthusiasm — creating a space where every dancer can grow, express themselves, and shine.
We are so excited for our students to learn, move, and be inspired by Ally this season! 💛
