Yesterday I received some Hyper -Vis + from Kelly Corcoran for the Kokanee Krawls prize pools
I've been thinkin' about buildin' some Draggin' Salmon Spinners for awhile
So I decided it was time
I can't wait for the Big Whomp-Whomp!!!!

Goin' salmon fishin' on the New Rayann out of Sausalito for King Salmon on the ocean to celebrate my birthday

Gee, you wouldn't know that Salmon season on the Sacramento and Feather Rivers started tomorrow
More Draggin' Salmon Spinners goin' out

One of the cool thing about buildin' custom tackle is the endless possibilities
With Salmon season quickly approachin' I was inspired to build some Salmon Spinners in the colors of my favorite Kwikfish
I also had a request for some double bladed spinners built on 20lb line with 1/0 hooks
I say it often "The possibilities are endless"

Kokanee Krawl 26 at Bucks Lake is in the books!!
On Saturday June 27th 13 teams spent the mornin' chasin' some Feisty Little Slime Rockets aka Kokanee Salmon
The weather was chilly, to say the least, but the rain held off and the winds were manageable and the fishin' was good
Fish were scattered all over the lake and we were markin' them from 15'-55'
The fish ranged from 8"-14"
After fishin' we met back at Sandy Point boat ramp for the 3 fish (Kokanee only) weigh-in, some hot dogs, chips and sodas and some awards!!
Here are the results

They both received new Kokanee rods

Id like to take a moment to thank everyone who participated as well as those who contributed to the prize pool and to Bill Drussell for cooking the dogs
These events are a lot of fun but they take a whole lot of work and planning to pull off and I can't do them without the help and support of many folks

If you have not been to one of the Kokanee Krawls please consider adding them to o your schedule next spring and summer

That's right, there is no cost to participate!!
I'll be greetin'' folks at the Sandy Point for ramp between 5:30- 6:30am and after a fun mornin' of chasin' some Feisty Little Slime Rockets aka Kokanee Salmon we'll meet back at the boat ramp between 12:30-12:30 for a 3 fish weigh-in ( Kokanee only)
We'll have some free Hot Dogs, Chips, Sodas and Waters
I'm still hopin' to get some donations for the prize pool
My goal, as always, is to have enough prizes for everyone that is participatin'
So please come out and join us for a fun mornin' of fishin'
Gather up your crews, set up your rods and Don't forget to bring your Special Corn!

Less then 7 days until Kokanee Krawl 26 at Bucks Lake!!
Next Saturday, the 27th I'll be hostin' a Free, Family Friendly, Fishin' Event at Bucks Lake
Bucks Lake is a beautiful lake with a healthy population of Kokanee, Rainbow Trout and Mackinaw
I'll be greetin'' folks at the Sandy Point boat ramp between 5:30-6:30 am
After a fun mornin' of chasin' some Feisty Little Slime Rockets aka Kokanee Salmon we'll meet back at Sandy Point for a 3 fish (Kokanee only) weigh-in
I'll have some free grub and for everyone as well as prizes for everyone participatin'!!!
Everyone is welcome!!!
So gather up your crews (friends or family), rig up your rods, get those boats ready and, of cy, don't forget your Special Corn
