One! More! Skate! The sale of Cal Skate / FunLand was supposed to close this week, hence our "Last Session" people are still talking about from Sunday the 16th. So we can either sit here with an empty building until it closes or offer one more day and night of skating to those that may have missed out last weekend, or just straight up want more time to skate. We're sorry for all the emotions brought out over the past weekend, and now switching gears and mixing things up with another day, but we just thought it was the best thing to do. See the attached flier for the skating hours for JUST Saturday, August 22nd and the Mini-Golf & Batting hours that are in effect now until it's last day - Monday, August 24th.

Final TWO FunLand posts left ever! #2 is a reminder, a sad reminder, but our LAST Cal Skate session is on Sunday Night, August 16th, from 5:30-9:30pm. We will of course be open all afternoon as well between 1:00pm and 5:00pm. But Sunday will be your last day to skate under Cal Skate's name until the new operation and ownership are in place. Admission for the afternoon is $11 plus skate rental, and the final evening skate is $10 plus skate rental. See you then!

Hello Cal Skate and FunLand friends!

We have received numerous requests regarding Cal Skate and/or FunLand specific branded items, or nostalgia items that are surplus or no longer in use.

Due to the significant interest we will try to gather and catalog some of these items and make them available in various ways. Some for sale and some for free.

Examples include pieces of carpet (remnants from installation), damaged mirror balls, old retired rental skates, and many many other items.

PLEASE DON’T MESSAGE US WITH SPECIFIC REQUESTS FOR ITEMS AT THIS TIME. We are still inventorying what we have and cannot reserve things yet.

We will try to have some of the free items available (first come-first served) at our final skate on 8/16 at 5:30.

We will post some of the more premium mementos for purchase next week here on this page.

Only THREE FunLand Facebook posts left - EVER! #3 is a reminder of what's happening for the final Cal Skate Saturday, August 15th: 10:00am-11:00am: Beginner/Intermediate skating lessons - come let Jody and Amy teach you for one last time. 1:00pm - 5:00pm: Saturday afternoon public skating. 7:00pm - 11:00pm: Roller Derby Bout! (NO public skating). Be sure to send in your Cal Skate family photos to [email protected] to be included in our weekend-long slide show on the rink floor, and especially for the FINAL Cal Skate session: Sunday night, 5:30-9:30pm!

BONUS skating session TONIGHT! We'll be throwing in an extra skating session this evening to give you another chance to skate under the Cal Skate name. This will be a family skate which means all of the fun popular music and games, give-a-ways, and specials we can squeeze in will happen tonight. Doors open at 5:30pm and run until 9:30pm. The cost will be $10 for admission, and $2.50 for quad skate rental, $3.50 for inline rentals. See the other post on our page for the details on the final weekend's events.

We're down to one final week - last couple days of Summer Camp, last afternoon Summer Session is on Wednesday 8/12, last Nor Cal Roller Derby bout on Saturday 8/15, and two more last extra BONUS skating sessions! Attached is our final August 2026 schedule. You'll see on there a Thursday night (5:30-9:30pm, Aug. 13th) family skate night, and of course on Sunday, our LAST session - Sunday evening (5:30-9:30pm, Aug. 16th). Have some pictures from way back in the day at Cal Skate, or even last month? It's National Mini-Golf Day on Saturday, May 9th! To celebrate, we're going to have a Glow Golf night on FRIDAY night from 8:30pm - 11pm. On SATURDAY afternoon we'll celebrate the day with 2-for-1 miniature golfing between 12 - 4:00pm! Glow golf will cost $15 for adults, $13 for kids under 10, and includes your very own 7-color LED golf ball you get to keep! Saturday golf round prices are $10.95 for adults, $9.95 for kids.
