Great opening day for the Tropics as we start our season 1-0 with a win over the Isotopes 18-0.

We had a great pitching outage from our ace Roger Woodruff who pitched 5 innings and allowed 1 hit no walks and 11 Ks.

We will be back in action next Sunday June 7th at 3pm against the Rangers.

We had a great run but we came up short in our semifinal matchup. Tropics suffered a 4-1 loss that ended our quest for the SOABL CHAMPIONSHIP. We would like to thank everyone that came out and supported us this season. Those following our page and the fans that came to games. We will regroup and come back even stronger next season.

Playoff baseball is here!!! The Tropics will face the Swans in semifinal action today at 3pm, Bolmer Field! Come out and support the team as we try to advance a step closer to the SOABL CHAMPIONSHIP!!

The Tropics finished up the regular season this afternoon. We took a 13-3 loss to the Swans to end the regular season 10-4, winning the SOABL regular season outright. With the number one tournament seed already locked up we took the opportunity to let some guys pitch that wouldn’t regularly get the chance. Tucker Lancaster, Logan Maynard, Paul Davis, Dominic Davis, and Curtis Scott all get to try their luck on the pitching mound today. Was definitely fun to watch! We now look to Sunday, August 17th for our semifinal matchup against this same team to open the postseason tournament. 3pm at Bolmer Field.

Tropics fell short today in our attempt to grow our win streak to 7 games in a row. We fell 13-8 to the Ross County Rangers, who were a very resilient team today battling back multiple times to overcome deficits and eventually take the lead for good. Today was our third game in 3 days, but we didn’t have enough to get it done today. The Tropics are now 10-3 with one game remaining in the regular season. 1st place in the regular season has already been secured. We look to get back in the winning circle next Sunday at noon versus the Swans.

Tropics get their 10th win of the season tonight with a 5-1 victory over the Ross County Rangers. We go for our 11th win tomorrow when we face the Rangers again at 3pm at Bolmer Field. Roger Woodruff pitched 6 strong innings to get the victory. Ryan Winans was credited with the save.

The Chillicothe Tropics improved their league leading record to 9-2 after last night’s victory over the Swans. Roger Woodruff, Billy Deleon, and Jerry Ebert all combined for the pitching victory. Hits were in an abundance all through the lineup. The Tropics will look for their 10th victory tonight as we face the Ross County Rangers at 7pm, back at Bolmer Field.

10 games into a 14 game regular season and the Chillicothe Tropics still sit atop the SOABL standings with an 8-2 record along with a run differential of +22
