Southeastern Jr. High girls track and field

I didn’t get an opportunity to do pictures from the banquet, but I wanted to give one final shout out to our girls team for the SVC meet. The Lady Panthers finished 4th overall in points in the SVC. Thanks to everyone for a great year!

We had a “best of southern Ohio” track meet yesterday. Over 30 teams (including a division 1 Columbus school) attended, so placing at all in a meet like this is a huge deal. We had several “almost” places and were very proud of those athletes! With that being said we had a couple of events that did place!

Results from our home Southeastern meet!!! Hard work pays off as we had a ton of PR’s and successful races. Our girls performed well enough to compile enough points to finish 3rd overall in the meet!

At our Huntington relay meet, ribbons were only given for top 3 places. Although we didn’t receive many ribbons, our girls were incredibly competitive against good competition! Great job to all of our athletes and those that did place!!

Our girls have competed great and Many PR’d in the last meet. I will post some PR’s at the end of next week. For now, these athletes received ribbons from last weeks meet at Waverly!

We had several athletes place in the meet. In order to place, an athlete or relay team must finish in the top 8 of competitors. Placing is a huge deal. Anytime we place, we earn points for our teams overall scores. Our girls team had several athletes place to compile a total of 43 points at the meet.
