In the pursuit of fat loss, there are 5,437,256 ways to do it. So what’s keeping you from getting there?⁣

Focus on these 3 fundamental tactics before worrying about not eating that slice of bread past 7pm (also that really doesn’t matter).⁣

1. Eat in a calorie deficit. Eat less energy (aka calories) than the energy you burn. Now there are 4,257 things can influence that balance. But if you are not losing weight? You’re not in a deficit. That’s it. In the great words of Jesse Pinkman “Yeah science!”⁣

2. Protein. Optimal daily consumption for fat loss is 0.7-1 grams of protein per pound of your body weight. You’ll feel full longer, takes more energy to burn (see #1 👆🏽) and helps retain muscle (see #3 👇🏽)⁣

3. Resistance training. Can you move in other ways? Of course! Will all of those other ways build muscle? Nope! Muscle in all it’s thermic glory will aid in fat loss. Fat is burned in the muscle. The more muscle you have the more fat you burn. ⁣

And super secret #4! Do the first 3 in ways you enjoy! The ultimate #1 plan for fat loss is *drum rolllll* the one you can stick with. 👊🏽💥⁣

Anywho, this is a protein pancake recipe that’s super easy to make and surprisingly filling. One pancake goes a long way.
Note: don’t expect it to be your usual buttermilk stack o flap jacks. But it is a nice high protein option. Ps I add a little extra stevia to make it sweeter.
