For those of you who think you can just do hella cardio and stay tight while eating and drinking bullsh**for 4 days ๐๐๐..I was 233 lbs when I went to Vegas for 4 days ..I trained my ass off everyday I was there, and not just 20 min treadmill stuff, every single morning I did a hard ass 20 min (fasted) HIIT circuit followed by 300 cal steady state (elliptical) cardio..jumped on the scales this morning and I was 241.6lbs.๐ณ๐ณthats damn near 9 LBS in 4 days ..and it ain't all water weight. In my defense I dropped 5 lbs before I went just so I could eat & drink everything under the sun..but I gained that 5lbs back plus 9 more ๐๐..it's all good tho ..sometimes you have to not be concerned with gaining a few lbs and just enjoy the good times ..for me I love training so working out on vacation isn't a sacrifice otherwise I wouldn't do it , and it just adds to the fun ( ) ..remember it's about balance ๐๐พ

Yesterday morning as I walked into Vons in Downtown Long Beach I observed this young girl laying against a wall sleeping -when I came out of the store minutes later she was gone..We can all speculate as to why shes on the street at this age (maybe she ran away from home or homeless) but it's hard for me to believe that at her age she is 100% responsible for being in this situation..not good ๐

The most effective way to get your abdominals to pop is by doing hella ab exercises.. Transformations don't happen overnight ...Laurie started her fitness journey with 2fitfitness almost 3 yrs ago as an original 2fitfitness client when we were training clients in our home garage, in the street, parks etc..Laurie never imagined she would get on stage..in fact she had never stepped foot in a gym before she became my client ..I still recall her initial goal was to just gain strength in her wrist after just having surgery ..but I saw something special in her right from the beginning ..her determination and work ethic were next level worthy ..I knew she had what it took between the ears to do something special and she did the damn thang at PAC USA ..๐๐พ1st place in her very first show ..I'm still buzzing and I know there's more to come ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐

4 yrs in a row now..5th, 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and now 4th again..still no procard but beyond blessed to be still doing what I love at 58 yrs old..I came in exactly like I wanted to at 215 LB and full but again it wasn't my time..competing in the 40 yr old division at 58 yrs old was tough but I'm making no excuses and yes getting back to work ..in reality old master competitors like me don't really do it for trophies or procards we do it because it's what we do and it's who we are ..so I guess I'll stop doing it when I stop loving it ..Thanks so much to all my supporters out there who keep me going couldn't do it without you all !! Get it in .. No excuses ๐๐พ

Woke up this morning determined and ready to work

Sunday Funday: Woke up this morning feeling like 88 instead of 58..had to scale back on this mornings conditioning workout ..so no HIIT (sprints) instead 45 min of steady state brisk incline walks at the beach..the key to making consistent progress is training hard/smart and listening to your body..know the difference between muscle fatigue/soreness and muscle pain/injuries ..always challenge yourself but shut it down or modify the movement if you have to..keep it moving and live to train another day ๐ช๐พ
