Chula Vista Skate Park

Boys & Girls Clubs of South County regrets to announce that the Len Moore Skate Park will be closed indefinitely, as we transition ownership of the park over to the City of Chula Vista. We have every confidence that the City will find a new provider to run the park.

A huge shout out goes to Trevor and Taylor McNally, who managed the park on separate occasions over the last five years. They did an incredible job creating a family-friendly park where individuals of all ages could come, learn, congregate, skate, scooter or bike in a safe space. We are grateful for their leadership and wish them every success in the future!

Additionally, we want to give a huge shout out and thank you to all of you for supporting the park since its inception in 2003. We are hopeful that the park will be up and running again for you all in the very near future and will be sure to keep you posted as we hear news regarding its re-opening!

Lastly, we wanted to let you know that there are still a number of our wooden ramps that are still available for free. If these ramps are not removed from the park soon, we will be forced to demolish them, which is certainly not our wish.
