Day 2 of the Combat Marine Outdoors 501c3 Non-Profit fish derby. Too many boats not enough Veteran’s. Me and The Reelest Fishing went out and caught fish to donate. Too bad because I pulled in this 10.44 lb red that would have been good enough for 2nd place again. Rattletraps and Rene Graham Rx2 paddle tails were the trick today. Great time meeting these Vets for Combat Marine Outdoors 501c3 Non-Profit fishing derby. Me and the brothers came up just a little short of cracking the Top 3 this weekend. The format was the heaviest stringer of 3 redfish and 3 catfish. We managed to put together a respectable bag with 3 reds and 1 catfish, which was good enough for a 4th place finish.

Not the result we were hoping for, but we’ll take it and keep grinding. Big thanks to Fin Addict Angler Foundation for putting on another great event. Looking forward to the next one!
