Lizzy Musi. Some knew her as a racer, some knew her a fisher woman, some knew her as a cook, some knew her as a Anmial lover we all have our memories that we will cherish forever. It wasn’t very often we got to slow down before and after races or even got to chat a little bit and hide away from everyone and girl talk about how much we loved our lives and the people in it. Lizzy always cared about others feelings I always ask how she was and told her I was praying for her and most of the time the answer was short and sweet she was doing good and the occasional tired after race weekend I’m okay with tears in her eyes but she never let them fall, then we got in to the typical girl talk that could have lasted hours. She was the strongest woman I know. She fought every battle with a smile on and off the race track. She fought battles none of us even knew about. We got to race in testing at Virgina Motorsports park and we both made amazing passes and shared stories at the end of the track how we felt about the cars. I feel like our parents were always like you girls talk to much hahah.. we always text in between races about who knows what probably our latest catch (fish) or the best make up.. Even if it took her hours to respond (I think she is the only worst texter than me) still love her though. I know Lizzy got cut short on a lot of things but what I can tell you is Lizzy didn’t cut her life short. She loved with no boundaries, she sent it every chance she took, she made an impact on every persons life that watched her on the track including mine. Lizzy always had her hair and make up done (even when I looked like I barely brushed my hair and told her she didn’t need to dress up to go get a pedicure) she was always beautiful but that’s not what made her beautiful her heart is what made her beautiful. I am quoting her to end this post I stole this from a text she sent me. “God gives me the strength everyday! Something’s that I think are impossible to do he makes it possible!” I know Lizzy is in a much better place than we are. She isn’t in pain, taking those pills or horrible shots she hated. She is healed and looking down on me saying quit being a blubbering mess. Through these tough times I look at the text and pictures we have sent and one thing remains the same she had trust in God. She knew he had a plan for her. She bought the most beautiful home she was so proud of it. She made the right decisions at just the right time and she was so happy with her life. I am so thankful she was surrounded by her loved ones as she passed. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, Liz, Jeffery and the rest of her family. Rest in Peace my friend. Until we meet again. 🩷🩷🩷
