A rock she found at a race — part of Casen’s Rock Journey — that led her to learn about DIPG and never look back. Amy believes one day there will be a cure, and she’s going to help make some noise until that day comes. 🌟

Crystal is proof that love is the most powerful fuel there is. When her son was diagnosed with a brain tumor at just 10 years old in 2022, Crystal didn’t slow down — she showed up harder. Now 50 and feeling better than ever, she’s passionate about raising money, raising awareness, and raising the bar for what’s possible. She’ll be running the Hyde Park Blast and bringing every ounce of that mama-bear energy with her, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her on our team! 🩶

Scott is the kind of guy who shows up — for his friends, for his community, and for the pavement. A proud member of the Cincinnati running scene (Roebling Runners, Tristate Running, Fleet Feet — you name it, he’s laced up with them), and this year he’s channeling all that energy into something bigger: fighting cancer, one mile at a time. He might even squeeze in a few miles in Hawaii while celebrating his 25th anniversary — now THAT’S commitment. 🌺

Over the next week we’ll be introducing this year’s social media amBLASTadors 💥 and want to start by welcoming back — a runner who doesn’t just show up, she shows OUT. She just crossed the finish line of the London Marathon as her 5th World Major, and she’s chasing all 6 stars. We couldn’t think of a better person to represent The Hyde Park Blast. Stay tuned — she’s got a lot to say. 👟🌍

In case you need another reason to sign up for the Hyde Park Blast Crit, now there are championship titles on the line. The Blast is the 2026 Ohio State Criterium Championships! 

Every eligible category will race for the state champion title (see bike reg page for details). If you haven’t signed up yet, don’t miss your chance to race one of the fastest, loudest criterium venues in the Midwest.
