It was wonderful to be back in Cincinnati Union Terminal/Museum Center yesterday for 40s Day -- my second ever, and my first in the newly restored building. (Here it is in the early morning as i searched for the south parking lot, lol!) If you haven't been yet to see the transformation, please make time to visit soon! So beautiful and inspiring, especially with the addition of the 1930s mosaics formerly displayed at CVG!! The staff is also cheerful, helpful, and informative, and really knows how to give you the VIP treatment. Special thanks to Emily Rose Logue and Hayley, and to all 40s Day participants for not only representing 40s US fashion, music and culture, but for their kind patronage of Savage Juliette, too!! Can't wait to return next year!

Last night I did a rather improptu setup for the always-fabulous Craft Menagerie at Blue Ash Square's Friday concert. Thanks to everyone who came out, and to Robot Inside for organizing the event! xoxoxo The sweetest couple came by and picked a pair of truly gorgeous earrings and we had a lovely chat. Cassidy, I hope we can work together on your wedding jewelry soon!

Heya! So, funny thing happened on the way to the dog park this spring: I fractured my ankle in two places! Good news is after surgery to install 10+ screws and a plate, and 2 months on the mend, I am once again walking AND I was able to use my forced confinement to make lots and lots of new jewelry! Stay tuned for pictures and news of upcoming events, where you can see the new goodies and, if you're nice, my Frankenstein ankle ;) In the meantime here's a lovely customer from Findlay Market's April Art+Poetry event, a longtime favorite where I first met many of you!
