With less than six weeks until the 2026 Whiskey City Challenge on July 18, we're excited to welcome riders of all ages and abilities to downtown Lawrenceburg. This year we've expanded opportunities for both juniors and masters, with waves for boys and girls ages 9–14 and 15–18, plus cat 4/5 men's and women's 40+ and 50+ categories. As always, junior racing is FREE and discounted entry is available for Cat 4/5 women. Our prize lists remain some of the deepest in the region, paying out 10–15 places in many fields. Registration is open now, with early-bird pricing available through June 13. Whether you're chasing a podium, sharpening your form, or just looking for a great day of racing, Whiskey City has a place for you. See you in Lawrenceburg on July 18!

Cleves week 5 is in the books! The weather did not provide a particularly fast night on Tuesday. Nevertheless, we saw three new Personal Best times. Congratulations to Eli Banish, Mason Carter, and Gavin Gray!
The performance of Eli Banish also moved him up to #8 on the all time best list while remaining #1 as an 18-year-old!
For the first time in memory, we had two “All Time” Top 10 times turned in on the same night. Stefan Zavislan turned in the 9th fastest time ever on only his first attempt on the Cleves Course! His time also ranks as the 2nd fastest time ever for his age category (30-34).
We are also pleased to report that the county filled most, if not all, of the potholes along the course last Thursday. These repairs should make for a somewhat more comfortable experience!
Thanks to Dave Lenahan for assisting at the Start/Finish!

Cleves Results are in! The weather was not very cooperative as the rain, albeit mostly a light drizzle, started shortly before the first rider left the start line in Cleves and continued until the last rider crossed the finish line in North Bend.
Although this may not have been a fast night for everyone, there was one exception. Eli Banish rode up from his home near Rabbit Hash, KY and promptly set an all time course record for an 18-year-old in only his second ever attempt at Cleves! Incredibly, his time now also ranks as the 6th fastest time for all ages combined, matching the time of Francis Manfred in 2008.
We also just realized that Bella Kroutil, the 18-year-old rider from Bowling Green, KY that we highlighted last week had also set an incredibly fast time. Bella’s ride last week placed her #2 on the all time course records list for an 18-year-old female (only 5 seconds behind the leader!). She also now holds the 6th fastest time for all ages combined for a female.
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to both of these young riders from everyone here at Queen City Wheels!
Thanks to Ginny Lenahan and John Fischer for timing in the rain!
