Congratulations Todd Sowders for being this year’s winner of the 2026 Les Horstman Memorial Ironman Tournament. Also congratulations to Dave Doerger for placing 2nd! These two bowlers accepted the challenge and climbed the hill!!

Also want to congratulate the six other bowlers that bowled match play, Zach Nordman, Danny Vollrath, James Tucker, Vu Duong, Olyvia Bittner, and Max Hennessey!
Final congratulations to Eric Halsey and Jack Staudigel for placing 9th and 10th place which we cashed out too!

The bowlers worked and grinded hard this weekend. The first shot they bowled was the 2025 USBC open champion singles and doubles pattern. The 2nd one was a modified house shot, which I shortened to 40’ and widen the pattern and added more volume. The 3rd shot was the 2025 USBC open champion team pattern.

I can’t thank the bowlers enough for your love of the sport and their support on this tournament. I also want to thank my amazing staff for all the hard work this weekend! You helped keep everything running smoothly!!There were a lot of laughs, frustrations, and new friendships made!

In closing all I can think of is the famous Porky Pig saying "Th-th-th-that's all folks!"!

We are pleased to announce the Ironman roster for this upcoming weekend, totaling 59 participants. There is one remaining registration spot available. Prospective participant are invited to express their interest via direct message. The first respondent to confirm payment will secure the spot.

For those that are registered for the Ironman Tournament…..
This is a friendly reminder to guarantee your spot you need the tournament paid in full by or on March 1st! Hours you can pay in person are Thursday 10am to 1pm and 7pm to 10pm, Friday 6pm to 10pm, Saturday 5:30pm to 9pm and Sunday from noon to 4pm. You can also call 513-385-0039 to pay over the phone or Venmo -Staudigel. At this point we are full and will release spots if not paid in full after March 2nd.

Life has thrown some heavy frames lately for a few of our bowlers.

In times of loss and grief, we want you to remember that this community is built on more than strikes and spares.
It’s where friendships are built, laughter echoes down the lanes, and we show up for each other in the hard moments too.

Due to the incredible turnout this year, we are paying out 12 places.

I truly cannot thank everyone enough who participated. Bowlers came from near and far, and some of you were here every single shift. Tournament bowlers are something special. They handle adversity, adapt on the fly, and bring laughter, excitement, and yes, sometimes the agony of defeat but they keep showing up. You all have an incredible way of making me smile and laugh right when it’s needed.

I am beyond grateful for the best bowlers and the best staff. Thank you all more than you know. ❤️
