With only 2 days left before rally week, there's still plenty to do—but today was a huge milestone.

After spending countless hours cleaning, inspecting, and prepping this S54 due to years of neglect and poor maintenance from the previous owner, I honestly wasn't sure if this engine would even run.

Today, it fired up.

Hearing it come to life for the first time was one of the best feelings ever. All the late nights, frustration, and hard work suddenly felt worth it.

Now it's time to finish the final details and get ready to send it through the woods at Southern Ohio Forest Rally.

The Big Nutz award goes to the fastest rear wheel drive car driver. . Ever since i stated racing at STPR I have wanted to win this and we finally did it last year! I will have to hand it off to the next person who wins it. We will not be making it to STPR this year so I only have just over a month left to display this award. Good luck to all the RWD drivers at STPR this year.

We will be at thursday at Parc Expose in Chillicothe OH. Then at service area on Friday and Saturday. At thE FH Motorsports service area ready when you need us.

I hope this is the last thing this needs i think im going to grow to love this engine definitely a labor of love you could say. Thank you for recommending adjusting the valves and rod bearings. I was planning to just throw this in there quickly and run it. I will feel much more confident about this engine now.

Don't mind the hair went through alot of parts cleaner🤣 im going to run a couple cans of liqui moly engine cleaner after I get the car back in and running
