Roundtown Elite Baseball

The Roundtown girls completed their regular season games last night with a big win as League Champs! These girls have gotten better every game, showed up consistently to put in the work, been the best teammates, have best dance moves and vocals, and have been so entertaining to watch.

A few highlights:
• 7 pitchers have stepped into the circle for the first time ever and held their own!
• Every girl has recorded a hit and multiple have hit off the kid pitcher!
• 2 in the park HRs for Landrie!
• 2 double plays and even a triple play!
• An inning saving slide, and a slide to make her safe at home!
• Solid fielding all around and some great arms in the outfield!
• Most importantly they’ve grown as players and have had so much fun coming together for this opportunity this year.

Ori - perseverance at the plate with a BIG hit scoring 2 runs!
Lux - 2 for 2 at the plate with 3 RBIs!
Callie - sending in 2 RBIs and a perfectly executed game ending double play!
Kaia - Big double with 2 RBIs!
Sadie - A big double for her too with 3 RBIs!
Kinsey - BIG BARREL with 2 RBIs!

The 12u had a hard fought battle in Elizabethtown last weekend! They made it all the way to the semifinal game against a talented West KY Outlaws team where they came up just short of advancing to the championship. Memories were made, fun was had, and some great baseball was played. Including collecting a few more homers!

Congratulations to Gabe Holsinger for adding THREE more HR balls to his collection and Izaya Stotridge for collecting his first of the season!

Anotha one! 12u Noah Griffin and Gabe Holsinger showed out again in their second game of pool play at the Teays Valley Tater! Gabe had a grand slam and Noah had a solo homer on top of earning the MVP for his locked down mound performance. We’re loving all the exciting updates from this weekend! Keep it up boys!

Today as some of our teams take the field in their Memorial Day tournaments, we pause to reflect, honor and remember those who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸

As we head into another weekend of tournaments we finish this week’s with one of our 15u !

Coulsen Mathews earned his first varsity save against Vinton County on Monday night and his first varsity win against South Webster on Thursday night! The crafty righty filled up the strike zone and had lockdown defense behind him during both appearances. Congratulations kid! We’re incredibly proud of you!

Catching up on some highlights!!

Our 10u competed hard last weekend in the “Wanna Be A Baller” Tournament. They went undefeated into the championship where they saw a talented RedHawks team.
Their success continued throughout the game and they came home with the GOLD! We look forward to seeing their continued success this season!

The Roundtown 10u softball girls are becoming quite the group to watch! As they’re settling into their very first year of kid pitch, they bring the talent and energy to every game! We’re super proud and excited to see their continued development!

A fun addition the girls are trying to earn each game is the G.O.A.T award!

Kyrah earned it first for a game sealing put out at 3B!

Fynlee earned it next with her excellent pitching performance where she had 4Ks in 2 innings!

Answers to some questions we’ve gotten!

1.) The shirts you’re sponsoring are per team not per player! So all 8u boys will end up with a shirt full ALL 8u sponsors, all 9u boys with ALL 9u sponsors, and so on all the way up to the 15u!

2.) ANY name you want! Grandma and Grandpa, Gigi, Aunt So and So, Uncle Fester, Cousin It, Oh-Kay Plumbing and Heating, The Wet Bandits! Whatever you want! One of the cool things about it being per team is that these teams become families and they enjoy wearing the name of the grandparents (even if they’re not theirs) that cheer loudly for them each game! So keep rolling in the names to fill their shirts!

3.) Going to try to close this by FRIDAY, May 22nd so we can get them ordered!
