We wrapped up an exciting 4th-6th basketball camp today! Our campers brought high energy all four days! 💯 Congrats to the Wings on the 5v5 Championship! They had some top notch coaching! 🏆 Special shoutout to our Campers of the Week and our Tiger Pride Award winners! Our 7th & 8th grade Lady Tigers also put in some work this week to start the summer! ☀️ 🏀

Awesome start to camp today. We had 35 players in the 4th-6th grade groups absolutely getting after it on Day 1.
We focused heavily on the fundamentals today across all our stations: footwork, defense, triple threat, shooting, passing, rebounding, the pick & roll, and finished with some competitive 1v1.
Massive thank you to our high school girls for helping run the camp today. Huge

Today, we say thank you to a coach who stepped into a nearly impossible situation and turned it into something historic. Coach Josh Blakeman.

Taking over just one week before the season started, you didn’t just fill a position—you built belief, stability, and a standard that will stay with this program long after your departure. What you accomplished in such a short time is nothing short of remarkable.

This past season will be remembered for:

• MSL Coach of the Year
• Division IV Coach of the Year
• Ohio Prep Sports Media Association All-Southeast District Girls Basketball Teams Co-Coach of the Year
• All Metro Team Coach of the Year
• And most importantly—leading our girls to their first-ever State Final Four appearance

But beyond the awards and accolades, what matters most is what can’t be listed on a trophy shelf: the way you steadied a team thrown into uncertainty, the way you built trust in the locker room, and the way you helped these young women believe they belonged on the biggest stage in Ohio basketball.

You didn’t just coach a season—you helped change the trajectory of a program.

Thank you for the leadership, the sacrifice, and the standard you set. Wishing you the very best in whatever comes next. Your impact here won’t be forgotten.
