Welcome to CWOC - a paddle sport and outdoor gear retailer & outfitter. We're a local, family owned We specialize in everything paddle sports!

Whether outfitting paddle trips on the only "Wild & Scenic" stretch of the Mississippi River, doing shuttles and rentals of canoes, kayaks, fishing kayaks, or stand up paddle boards (SUP), or selling equipment and gear from our historic specialty shop on the banks of the river, we will take care of your needs. In our store, we sell top quality gear and equipment at great prices while specializing in used and discounted canoes, kayaks, fishing kayaks and SUP boards. 🍁Fall colors are starting to arrive!

Experience the river in a different way, and get out and paddle this fall! The leaves are just getting started, so there is still plenty of time to get out on the water. Peak colors are predicted to be here in mid-October, so plan ahead. We will keep you updated as we see more changes!

🐟Bronzeback Recap!

Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the tournament! It was a chilly and rainy day, but everyone powered through. As always, we wrapped up the night with a delicious meal and fun prizes. This event means a lot to use, and we have so much fun every year! 💚💙

The Bronzeback tournament is underway!

Erik is staying busy preparing our post-river meal. He's got homemade meatloaf and chicken thighs on the smoker. It should be a delicious warm meal on this chilly fall day!

🥩Huge thank you to Grand Meadow Meats for donating all the meat for the evening! Located right across the street from us, they have offer a great selection fresh meat. Check them out next time you stop in!

🎣The Bronzeback Classic fishing tournament is just a few days away! The tournament is sold out, and we are looking forward to a fun day of fishing the Mississippi!

The Dan Meer Memorial Bronzeback is our annual fishing tournament! Every year we host 50 anglers on our favorite stretch of the river. Complete with good food, good conversations, and some great prizes (including 2 fishing kayaks!), it is always one of our favorite days of the paddling season.

Labor Day weekend seems to feel like the official end of summer. However, it is not the end of our paddling season! Fall offers some great weather for fishing. Enjoy some crisp mornings casting your line, or a warm afternoon in your favorite spot along the river.🎣
