My spice cabinet and supplement shelf have started sharing custody of turmeric.

I can add the spice to soups, stews, smoothies, or unsweetened almond milk. I also personally take turmeric with curcumin as a supplement.

Curcumin is the compound in turmeric known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It may help support a healthy inflammatory response, joint comfort, brain health, and the body’s protection against oxidative stress.
Those benefits start sounding especially interesting when your knees begin negotiating every staircase and getting out of a chair requires a little more planning than it used to.

The supplement I take also includes black pepper extract, which can help the body absorb curcumin more effectively.

Using turmeric in food is a wonderful way to include it regularly. A supplement can provide a more concentrated and consistent amount, but that does not make every bottle on the shelf equal.

Quality matters. The form, dosage, added ingredients, medications you take, and your individual health needs all deserve attention. I recommend checking with your healthcare provider before adding a new supplement, especially when you take medication or manage an existing condition.

That is also why I prefer reviewing trusted options instead of choosing whichever bottle has the most impressive-looking label.

Comment SUPPLEMENTS and I’ll send you my list of approved supplements without added sugar.

Please tell me I wasn’t the only person who thought the green SnackWell box was practically a permission slip to eat cookies.

I can still picture my favorite ones: those chocolate-covered marshmallow cookies.
The box was green, which apparently made it look one step away from a vegetable.

The name was SnackWell, and the biggest promise on the package was fat-free.
What more evidence did we need?

I would sit there with that box genuinely believing I had made the healthier choice.

This was during the fat-free era, when so many of us were taught to watch every gram of fat and treat it like the villain hiding in our food.

Years later, I learned that when manufacturers removed fat, they often added sugar to make the food taste good. Those cookies may have been fat-free, but their sugar content told a very different story.

That green box is such a good reminder of how easily the front of a package can shape what we believe.

Now I pay far more attention to the ingredients than the colors, catchy names, and promises printed in giant letters.

Although I will admit, the SnackWell marketing department really knew what they were doing. They had me trusting a marshmallow cookie because it was wearing green.

What fat-free food shocked you the most once you learned what was actually in it?

If you joined the Lose 5 Pounds & Beyond in 5 Days Challenge, I want you to pause for a second and imagine something with me.

Picture the next challenge, three months from now.

You’re not watching from the sidelines. You’re not thinking, “I wish I had started back then.”

You’re the one in the comments sharing how much weight you’ve lost, how your clothes fit differently, how your energy feels steadier, and how your numbers are finally moving in the right direction.

I see that happen every single time.

The people who decide to continue don’t just lose weight. They become the ones others listen to. The ones people message privately and ask, “What did you do?” Not because they were perfect, but because they made one decision and stayed with it.

I know how easy it is to think you can decide later. I also know that later has a way of turning into months, and months turn into another year of feeling stuck.

You are not far away. You are one decision away.

Real Health Resolvers exists for the people who felt something shift during the challenge and don’t want to lose that momentum. It’s where the weight comes off steadily, about one percent of your body weight per week, while your health improves instead of breaking down. It’s where blood sugar calms, inflammation eases, cravings quiet, and confidence comes back.

But I need to be honest with you.

At midnight tonight, the challenge replays are going away, and so are the special discount and bonuses that are available right now.

If you want to be the person sharing your progress in the next challenge, this is how it starts. Not someday. Not when things feel easier. Now.

Comment RHR and I’ll send you the details so you can decide before the doors close.

I didn’t regain weight because I lacked discipline. I regained because I didn’t understand what dieting was doing to my body.

For years, I treated weight loss like a short-term project. I followed plans built for fast results, not real life. I ate less, pushed harder, and celebrated the number on the scale without realizing how much stress I was putting on my system.

When calories drop too low, hunger hormones get louder and stress hormones rise.

Your body doesn’t register success, it registers danger. So the moment the diet ends, your system pushes back towards what feels safe. That’s why hunger feels out of control after restrictive plans. It isn’t weakness. It’s biology.

I also didn’t realize how much under-eating slows metabolism. Tiny meals, shakes, and very low-calorie days teach your body to burn fewer calories. Then when you return to normal eating, the scale jumps. Not because you failed, but because your body adapted to survive.

The biggest mistake was never learning how to maintain.

Most diets teach restriction, not real life. You can’t live in diet mode forever. Long-term success comes from simple habits you can repeat daily, eating real food, drinking enough water, sleeping well, keeping dinner earlier, and staying consistent even on weekends.

Weight regain isn’t a motivation problem. It’s a biology problem that needs a different approach.

What if pain, stiffness, and stubborn weight all have the same root cause, and no one ever explained it to you?

Over the last five years working as a health coach, one thing has become painfully clear to me.

Most people have no idea how important inflammation really is, or how deeply it affects their weight, energy, pain levels, and overall health.

Inflammation is not just about sore joints or achy mornings. It is the reason so many people feel stuck in bodies that do not respond, even when they eat less, move more, or try yet another plan.

Most people who struggle with excess weight are inflamed.

And the moment inflammation starts to calm down, everything begins to change.
Energy improves., pain eases, cravings quiet down, and weight finally starts to move in a way that makes sense.

That is why tonight’s live session matters so much.

At 8PM EST, inside my Beyond Keto Facebook Group, I am teaching how to live without pain and inflammation, and how to support your body so it can actually heal.

This is part of the Lose 5 Pounds & Beyond in 5 Days experience, and we already have people who have lost over 5 pounds by Day 5.

Not by pushing harder, but by removing what has been blocking their body all along.

During the live session, I will break down what inflammation really is, why it shows up so easily, and the simple daily shifts that help your body calm it down naturally.

No extremes or punishment just working with your biology instead of against it.

All challenge replays are available inside the group until Wednesday at midnight, so you can watch everything at your own pace and catch up easily.

If you want to understand why inflammation matters and how to finally reduce it, comment GROUP and I will send you a free invitation to join us.
