Nobody sees this part.
Not the highlights. Not the stats. Not the starting lineup. Just a kid on a field putting in the work that most won’t do.
This is what the off-season is for. Agility. Footwork. Speed. The stuff that shows up in October was built in May.
If your athlete is serious about leveling up this off-season the X Factor Athlete Series was built for exactly this. Link in bio. 🔗

Same drill. Same dad. Years of work in between.
This is Jayden. 4th grade on the left, about to enter high school on the right. He didn’t wake up athletic. He showed up. Over and over and over again.
This is exactly why I built X Factor Athletic Performance & Rehab. Because the foundation you build at 8, 10, 12 years old — that’s what shows up at 14, 15, 16 when it matters most.
The work always shows up eventually. Start now. 🔗 Link in bio.

This is what wanting it looks like.
Not a highlight reel. Not a game. Just kids putting in the work on a Tuesday because they decided they wanted to be better.
Agility. Speed. Footwork. Coordination. These are the skills that transfer to every sport — and they get built long before the season starts.
This is what X Factor is about. 🔗 Link in bio.

Reps Remove Doubt. Getting reps and lots of touches in.

Lower body power / plyometric day. Incorporating lots of single leg activity in various directions is key; that’s how sports are played!

Have to find a way to allow people to comply with a stretching program consistently to see soft tissue change. For adolescent boys it may be when they are playing video games.🤪🤷🏽‍♂️

Toes propped into extension, ball between heels promotes engagement of 1st and 2nd toes and limits inversion of the ankle during heel raise. Build from the ground up! Everything weight bearing starts from the foot and works it’s way up the chain! Peak performance starts with everything working efficiently.

Great plyo and lower body power session before school. Ending with working on jump mechanics, specifically Jayden’s penultimate step and arm swing. Eye in the sky don’t lie!
