Hey Medios,

One last note before Saturday's tournament at StoneWater.

Right now we have 58 golfers signed up, and about 10 of those haven't paid yet. We have 115 members in our chapter, and I know not everyone can make every event. That's completely fine. But we're just short of the 60 golfers I promised the StoneWater owners, and I'd really like to hold up my end. I was able to book them this year through a personal relationship, and I want them to feel like hosting us was worth it.

Here's some context on why this matters. I book our courses from November through February so I can get the full schedule to you as early as possible. To make a sh***un event worth a course's time, I make commitments up front. When turnout goes from 90-100 golfers in April to under 60 in October, it gets harder to make those commitments, and it makes courses less eager to have us back. I try to rotate venues each year to keep things fresh, and healthy late-season turnout is a big part of that.

So if you can make it Saturday, it would mean a lot. I never want to beg anyone to come golf, and I know everybody has prior commitments, but I'd love to see everyone who can make it out. StoneWater is providing the patio and pizza after the round, and friends and family are welcome to join.

I put in the extra effort because I think it's what makes our chapter the best in the country. To keep planning at this level, though, I need to know our Medios are in for the full season.

Registration is open through the end of the day. If you can't make it, I hope to see you next season or in Vegas.

Hey Medios!

A couple of announcements:

Our second to last tournament of the season is taking place NEXT WEEKEND on Saturday, September 12 at beautiful Tanglewood Golf Club. I need to get registration finalized by the end of this week, and right now we are low on signups. Please get signed up asap: https://mgatour.com/events/cleveland-douche-bag-invitational-2026

NEXT: the 2026 BUCKEYE CUP is taking place on Saturday, September 19th at Oakhaven Golf Club - a brand new spot that I heard is awesome! Cleveland needs at least 12 golfers to compete and right now we only have nine! We just won the Midwest Regional, so lets go and try and sweep the regionals!

And finally, our final event of the season is taking place on Saturday, October 3rd at StoneWater Golf Club! StoneWater is an amazing course and I've had the priveledge of working with them outside of the MGA for a few years. They are graciously giving us the back outdoor area after the round and all friends and family are welcome to come out and enjoy food, drinks and a final season send off before Vegas! I would GREATLY APPRECIATE if we could get this tournament filled up and have a nice crowd at The Yard afterwords!

Big news to share from this past weekend, Medios! Fifteen of your fellow Cleveland Medios headed out to the 2026 Midwest Regional to battle against 70+ golfers across nine different chapters, and wouldn’t you know it, CLEVELAND came out on top to retain the cup!

It was one hell of a day for the entire CLE crew with three out of the top five spots, and ten out of the top twenty-five all going to Cleveland. Big thanks to the Billdozer for putting on a great event and thanks to the entire crew for traveling out!

I have been unable to locate a team picture, so I’ll just drop this one from the parking lot.

And another one! Congrats to our 2026, and two-time Bratish Open champion, Jacob Gallaugher! Enjoy those jugs, but not too much.

Been running a bit behind this year, but I wanted to give a shoutout to our 2026 FU Open champion Mike Hawkins!

Mike has taken the CLEMGA by storm this season racking up four top-10 finishes, three top-5 finishes and capping it off with his first career win! He's sitting atop the CLEMGA money list and 130th on the global money list!

Congrats on an awesome season so far and see you in Las Vegas!

Oh, hey Medios! Looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday at Briarwood for the 2026 Bratish Open! But first… REGISTRATION OPEN UP TOMORROW FOR THE 2026 MGA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

I’ll be there! You should too!

I need payments from the following Medios for our event taking place this Sunday:

Corey Koewler
Goran Najdenovski
Jim Oblock

By far the worst part of this non-paying job is chasing people down for payments days away from our tournament while the course is hounding me for final pairings and payment....
