Buffalo Bills Training Camp ~ August 2022

The Last Game at The Ralph and our beloved Buffalo Bills wore their Red Helmets. Going into Sunday’s game, I was disappointed it didn’t have more at stake like home field advantage in the playoffs or the AFC East Division title. But God gives us what we need, and we needed to say good-bye. Saying good-bye is such a blessing. When you have that opportunity to say good-bye, the act deserves time and space for your heart to do so. A game with backups and a decent lead allowed my eyes to wonder around the stadium for the last time. I thought about my Dad and The Glory Years and how much this team meant to him. The game allowed me to talk to the season ticket holders around us who became more than friends the last 10 years—we were a Band of Warriors who fought for our team at every home game. This is a real love that we have for our team and the stadium we called Home for so many years. I am grateful for that love, and for all the fans that feel the same way ❤️💙🏈🦬

The best part of Game Days is who you spend them with. Even with all the rain, there was lots of sunshine and smiles at Jenny’s Bills Bus.

One more Home Game and our Farewell Season is over. Our Beloved Bills will be in their Red Helmets.

On October 3, 2013, Mark and I drove to Cleveland for a Thursday game against the Browns. It was a beautiful fall afternoon and as we tailgated, this orange bus pulled up to an empty spot next to us. I watched as a Browns fan hopped out of the bus, opened the back door and proceeded to pull out all of his tailgating equipment: a grill, coolers, tables, chairs, grill utensils, and tailgate food. He even had a makeshift sink for cleanup. For me and that bus, it was love at first sight—that was the moment my dream of a Jenny’s Bills Bus was born. Yes, my original plan was a school bus painted red & I’m so grateful that my favorite Kless Boy elevated that dream to a 1965 VW Bus. After 12 years, I’m hoping to see Dog Pound Bound again as we are headed to the game and to the same spot to tailgate. I want to tell him thank you for the inspiration. I have always believed that Bills Fans and Browns fans are kindred spirits. We love our teams hard and without apology. Dog Pound Bound showed me that you can love your team so much, that you buy a bus and dedicate it to bringing friends and family together through the ups and downs of loving your team ❤️💙🏈🧡🤎
