The girls were on fire once again this weekend making it to their 3rd Championship game of the season out of 7 tourneys so far! That shows this team is arguably one of the best 08 teams out there! We have beaten more than 70% of the older 07 teams we have played this season. It’s great to see their confidence and faith in each other growing week in and week out. They are really peaking right now and have become a very dangerous team to play against. The team has over 380+ hits on the season and a 33-13-2 record. We might not hit a lot of home runs over the fence, but 33% of our hits are extra bases, doubles and triples and a few in the park home runs! We had 54 hits this weekend with an amazing number of extra base hits; 15 doubles and 5 triples! We went 5-1, beating 3 more 07 teams but ended up short in the Championship game losing in the bottom of the last inning from a walk off HR. Hats off to Mojo for a great battle. The CF for Mojo is an elite outfielder who stole numerous shots from us! Good work kid. There were awesome defensive plays and
strong pitching, impressive base running, successful squeeze plays and more...total team effort. The girls have each other’s back, support each other in good and bad times and this group will never give up or give in!! The semifinal game vs a strong 07 Hawks team did not disappoint. We went to the bottom of
the final inning where these girls put on a show! Down by 1 most of the game, we kept going at them, hit after hit scoring run after run to win it in the last inning by 3 runs 7-4 planting our foot into another championship game. On the weekend, 8 of the players batted over .333 with Cam leading the way with an impressive .579 (2 dbls and 2 triples), and Chelsea with an impressive .563 (2 dbls and 2 triples), Brooklyn hit .429 ( 3 dbls.) and Stella came in at .400, Ava .375 (2 dbls) Chloe .333 with 2 dbls, and 3 others hit .333 outscoring the competition 47-15. These girls always stay hungry and know how to EATT.
(E =110% effort, A = great attitudes, T = best teammate, T = play as 1 team). We will be finishing up the season next weekend at the Midwest College showcase at Victory park!! Come watch us play! You won’t be disappointed. Coach Dan

Our team traveled to South Charleston, WV this weekend to play in the Firecracker Frenzy. It was a beautiful facility in the mountains with all turf fields. Saturday we started strong in pool play out scoring our opponents 29-1 in three games. Sunday didn’t go as planned with a tough 2-1 loss in the semi final to MOV Pride.
The offense was on fire all weekend with 5 girls ( #16 Shawna Baylor, #5 Ava Livingood, #6 Ruby Almaguer, #00 Chelsea Miller, and # 19 Camree Cunningham) all batting over .400. #19 Camree Cunningham led the way hitting an impressive .909 (10 for 11) with a double, 2 triples, and 2 hr. #00 Chelsea Miller was also hot hitting .714 with 2 triples and 5BB. #16 Shawna Baylor provided power with a hr and a one hop ground rule double over a 220’ fence.
Pitchers ( #27 Stella Everett, #54 Gianna Paglia, #45 Brooklyn Ellis) were equally as impressive combining for a team ERA of 1.105. Ellis led the way with 7 innings pitched. Everett led in strike outs with 10 in 6 innings and Paglia pitched 6 innings with an impressive 0 earned runs allowed.
The girls played well and the team gained confidence even though it didn’t end how we wanted. We’ll be back at it next weekend at Recruit Fest in Columbus at Berliner.

What a great Father’s Day weekend we had here in Ohio. Our Outlaw team played in the D1 Super Select College showcase so the number of games we played was limited to only 4. It was nice to take some time off on Sunday and enjoy a well-earned Father’s Day with our families! Our team played very well against some strong teams and great competition. Some highlights include another weekend with 4 players hitting over the .400 threshold. Stella Everett led the way with a .625 average for the weekend! Camree Cunningham hit a solid .571 and stole a base. Ava Livingood put up a .444 average offensively and Gianna Paglia added some Big power with 2 triples and 4 RBI’s hitting a solid .429 for the weekend! 3 other players were .300 plus hitters on the weekend too. (Bella Weaver, Brooklyn Ellis and Chelsea Miller) Once again our defense was very solid throwing players out at the plate from the outfield, getting another player out in a pickle play, and numerous double plays to add to the list. Pitching was solid. Gianna came very close to hitting our team goal throwing at least 70% FPS. (first pitch strikes) She was able to come in at 68% FPS which continues to get great results and hi % of outs. The pitching staff threw a combined 17 strike outs in those 4 games. Brooklyn led the way with an impressive 83.33% FPSO’s (first pitch strike outs). It was nice to come back in the last inning vs. Team PA to secure the victory to end our weekend. Those games always bring the best feelings! Never giving up and competing all the way to the end is something we live by. Anything can happen and any given day any team can win. Believe in yourself and you can do wonders! Off this weekend then heading to West Virginia for the Firework Frenzy in Charleston! Good luck to all teams the rest of the season.

Ohio Outlaws Masiello played in the Lasers invite last weekend in Cbus and did very well competing against mostly older 07 teams. We were able to get 8 very competitive games in, losing in bracket play to the said tournament Champions Stingrays 07. As a coach, I have witnessed the growth in confidence, skill and teamwork in this group over the last 6-8 months. It makes us very proud to see all the things we worked on over the winter to come to life on the fields this spring and summer. We are finally playing consistent competitive softball with no fear of our competition. They BELIEVE in each other and it shows on and off the field! GO OUTLAWS. J
Going into the weekend we set 10 team goals to focus and push our ladies to play at an elite level. They did not disappoint!!! Our ladies showed up again and played some really great ball together as one TEAM. Everyone contributed! We were also able to reach 8 of the 10 team goals we set for ourselves. Way too many highlights to list here but these are a few of them. We had 6 double plays that included 5 different players. (team goal was 4+ dbl plays for the weekend).
We were successful on numerous squeeze plays (another team goal). Our defense was very solid with numerous outs at the plate on throws from our outfield. (Chelsea had at least 2 of them). Our team fielding % was at .951 after the tournament ended. We made some errors but we never gave up. Pitchers were once again solid and Gianna led the way with an impressive 68.49% FPS (first pitch strike %). This stat is one I like a lot because it has results. Her FPSO (first pitch strike outs) % was 70% and her FPSH (first pitch strike hits) was an awesome low 28%. Gianna also pitched a shutout, complete game against a strong Lasers Scarlet 07 team which we won 7-0. All our pitchers did well; Gianna pitched 15.1 innings, Stella pitched 12.1 and Brooklynn pitched 8.0. keep it up ladies! Keep supporting eachother.
Offensively with 4 players hitting above .400, we were able to put some points up on the scoreboard in every game winning 5 of our 8 games with all 5 vs. strong 07 teams. Our team smacked 39 singles, 16 doubles, 1 triple and sadly this time no BOMBS but scoring 43 total runs! Rubi led the way with a smashing .571 average, Reese had a .462, Chelsea .444 with a couple hits off the 10’ tall HR fence, Chloe had a .438 and Stella had a .364. Chloe’s delay stolen base really set the tone in one of our games and helped keep the momentum going. These 5 led the team in batting average with all others closely behind. The team showed great effort all weekend long. We are very proud to see the growth in confidence individually and as a team. Next weekend we are in the D1 Super Select Showcase. Good luck ladies and keep up the great work! Coach Dan

It was an up and down weekend for our team at the ACS Open in Monroeville PA. We started off strong with a 4-1 pool play record earning a # 3 seed but lost our first elimination game 6-4 to Lasers Royal who went on to win the tournament.
#19 Camree Cunningham used her speed to lead the offense with 6 hits, a .545 BA, and 6 runs scored. #45 Brooklyn Ellis was also hot at the plate batting .500 with 6 hits including 3 doubles and leading the team with 5 RBI.
The pitching staff was led by # 54 Giana Paglia who threw 12 innings striking out 11 batters.
We will be off this weekend but back in action the following June 10th-11th at the Lasers Tournament in Columbus.
