Playoffs are a Whole New Season!!!

For those who might be interested, the Shaker Varsity baseball team beat Lakewood (who was 27-0 ) today in the Regional semifinal game
4-2 to go to the Regional championship game at Gilmore Academy. (Off SOM Center Rd.)
The Regional Final game is at 2 pm tomorrow afternoon (original time was 5 pm but changed to 2 due to Shakers Graduation tomorrow night. GO SHAKER!!!

The Shaker Heights (OH) varsity baseball team has a home playoff game v Lakewood (OH) on Wednesday, June 3 @ 2p
This game is a part of the "2026 OHSAA Baseball State Championships (Ohio) - Division II" tournament.

Shaker Youth Baseball League sends its CONGRATS TO THE “RED HOT”SHAKER RED RAIDERS Baseball Team.
They beat the Normandy Raiders 5-3 to advance to the Division 2 Regional Semifinal game at Gilmore H.S. next Wednesday, June 3rd. against the winner of Lakewood vs. Wadsworth.
Our Red Raiders won the game with solid pitching, good defense and timely hitting!!!!

SYBL players and coaches were grateful for the opportunity to join the Shaker Heights community at this year’s Memorial Day Parade.
As we marched together, we paused to remember and honor the U.S. military personnel who gave their lives while serving in the Armed Forces. We are thankful to be part of a community that comes together in remembrance, gratitude, and service. 🇺🇸⚾

Special thanks to Coach English, his staff, and players for hosting the SYBL and DNA players for on the field for drills, Shaker Raider Trivia, and pre-game ceremonies. Shaker Youth Baseball Day Connects Young Players with Shaker Heights Varsity Baseball - Shaker Youth Baseball League Young athletes from Shaker Heights Youth Baseball League and DNA Raider Baseball joined families at Shaker Youth Baseball Day on May 12 to cheer on the Shaker Heights Varsity Raiders as they took on the Lorain Titans.

We couldn't be more excited to share that we really hit it out of the park this year. SYBL has 358 players registered across four leagues (T-ball to AAA).

Plus, our Shaker travel baseball partner, DNA Raiders, has an additional 40 players across three teams (12U, 13U, and 14U) participating in local travel leagues.

In the coming months, you will see these teams practicing and playing on fields throughout Shaker Heights. Don't be afraid to stop by and take-in a game!
