The Triple Goddess - Maiden Mother Crone

A Lotus - purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth. Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower.

In my opinion, it has been hard navigating womanhood. Humans in general have not been celebrated for who they are, each person has been taught to hide or ignore some part of themselves, but I can’t speak for every human. I can however, speak about my experience walking through this life as a woman and I can tell you that I have felt pretty unprepared for MOST of it.

For me it was because I didn’t know myself. I didn’t know what I didn’t know and I didn’t know how to find the information I didn’t know... you know?

Growing up we never talked about how each new stage of womanhood would birth a new version of you. That with each rebirth there is a new opportunity to discover yourself all over again. That you can create and draw a map to assist you on this journey back home to this newest version of you.

Do you have a map? Did you know that you could create one? When was the last time you looked at the map to make sure you are traveling in the correct direction? Have you strayed off course and lost your way home?

Danced away everything I don’t want to bring with me into 2021! I indulged in music that moves me, my own warm touch, taking up space, moving slowly, and being swept away. 📷 = post dance selfie.

Created my first ever vision board to remind me of the life I want to live and experience. It brought me peace and excitement to see it in words and pictures.

Ordered take out.

Gonna make a black-eyed pea dip.

And then pull out every slip of paper from our families joy jar we started on 1/1/20 and read each one together. Reminding us all what joy we experienced through a really challenging and different year.

Whatever you choose to do to close out 2020 and enter into 2021 - I do hope it’s rooted in love, your true desires, and whatever you need more of in your life.

What positive change will be sparked by this full moon? A message for the collective.

You are love, lovable, and loving. Full Moons are all about releasing what no longer serves us to make room for what does. The repeating of old stories and narratives from previous relationships (with yourself, family, friends, romantic) are actively keeping the love you are searching for from reaching you. It is safe to let love in. You are protected and surrounded by love already. You deserve to give and receive love always and in all ways.

Learning to receive love can be challenging when we are replaying those old stories. Release the fear of receiving love. Maybe in the past it was conditional, maybe you learned love or your heart cannot be trusted, maybe you aren’t sure how to love yourself/another... releasing the fear attached to receiving makes room for you to step gently into learning a new way, writing a new chapter, creating a new narrative.

Full Moon Intention: I release my fear around love to create safe opportunities for me to give and receive love.
