If you pick any form of movement that sounds interesting to you and stick with it on a weekly basis, it will increase your adherence to the physical activity recommendations from the American Heart Association.

Creating a better quality of life and sense of overall well-being is the goal✨

Physical activity recommendations for adults ages 18-64

1.) Muscle-strengthening physical activity at least two days per week.

2.) At least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity (such as brisk walking, gardening, dancing) or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity (like intense hiking, swimming, jumping rope) each week, or a combination of both

3.) Increase amount and intensity of exercise gradually over time

The reality is that we all fall out of routine.

You don’t have to judge yourself, dwell on reasons why, or keep yourself stagnant longer than you’ve already been.

Maturity in your approach is understanding that it’s human to get tied up in other things. It happens and it will happen again.

What matters is that you can get jump back in at any point, exactly as you are, and do exactly what you need that best serves you.
