Clinch River Archery S3DA

Now that our tournaments have concluded for this year, I want to take a moment to look back on the 2023 competition season. I believe 2023 has been our best season so far. Most of that can be attributed to the archers and parents who make up this program. Without you, none of this would be possible. The number of TN S3DA archers who podiumed at Indoor, 3D and Outdoor Target events is not only a direct reflection of the talent and skill amongst our student athletes but speaks volumes to the coaches leading our teams. I cannot begin to imagine the hours and hours of volunteer time donated by the coaches throughout the state to ensure these young archers have everything they need to succeed. Speaking of volunteers, thank you to each and every person who has volunteered to help during our events. Whether you worked with tournament set-up, assisted with archer check-in, served as a range official, helped tear-down and clean up after events, or any other capacity I greatly appreciate your efforts.

Congratulations archers on truly making 2023 bigger and better for TN S3DA. We may not be the biggest S3DA program but I truly believe we are the best there is! To those students who graduated and won't be with us next season, I wish you only the best as you begin this next chapter of your life.

So now, we take a little time to relax from the tournament trail and also prep for the fall hunting season. I'm looking forward to hearing all about your time in the woods this fall. Meanwhile, we are already hard at work for the 2024 competition season. With that being said, please be sure to mark your calendars with the dates below. Locations and other event info will be finalized and released in the coming weeks.

The Overall Shooter of the Year Award is a combination of the final Scores from Indoor , 3d and Outdoor .

We are quickly approaching a record number of registrations for the Outdoor Target State Championship. If you haven't registered, please do so now as we are almost at capacity.

Sweet T's Bbq and Catering will be onsite serving some great food. You may remember them from the Miller Coliseum Indoor Regional.

The tournament will be on Field 11 at the Richard Siegel Soccer Championship Soccer Complex at 515 Cherry Ln Dr, Murfreesboro. Teams are welcome to put up canopies and be sure to bring chairs for seating.

There are 11 spots remaining for the Outdoor Target State Championship. Due to the various distances and target face combinations used, there are particular equipment classes/ age divisions we can accommodate with those remaining spots. If you attempt to register on Sport80 and your class is not available, please email Mr. Robert at [email protected] and you will be placed on a waiting list while we try to acquire additional target bales.

We have a record-setting number of registrations- much higher than we anticipated, and we are excited to see so many of you coming out for this event! We are working diligently to ensure everyone who wants to shoot will be able to. However, we will not be able to accept any additional registrations after 11:59 pm, July 4th.

Hoping to get the "best seat in the house" for the Outdoor Target State Championship? Well, here is your chance. One lucky archer will win access to the TN S3DA VIP Seating package featuring some of our favorite Buc-ee's gear including 2 chairs, a canopy, and a soft cooler to store your drinks and snacks.

All archers registered as of Tuesday July 4th at 8:00 am EST will be eligible to win. A live drawing will be held at 9:00 am to determine the winner. The VIP seating area will be placed directly in line to the archer's location on the shooting line.

But wait, that's not all... The winner will get to keep ALL of the gear!!

It’s time for OUTDOOR TARGET season! Make yourself familiar with this important information so you’ll be on target for success! 🎯

Do you have questions about distances and/ or target faces for the Outdoor Target State Championship? The chart below outlines the distance for each age division/ equipment class as well as the target faces used. NEW FOR 2023: shorter distance for ALL Jr. Eagle classes!!

The tournament will be a 36 arrow qualification round (6 ends of 6 arrows) followed by head to head elimination matches to determine the champion. Stay tuned for more info...

TN S3DA was well represented in last weekend's 2023 S3DA Eastern 3D National Championship as 45 archers from Tennessee traveled to Rend Lake, Illinois to compete for the title of National Champion. 16 of those archers earned a top 5 finish with 12 of them landing on the podium and 5 of those archers were crowned the 2023 National Champion!! One of our favorite moments was seeing all of the archers, coaches, and parents cheer on their fellow TN archers regardless of their team affiliation. We are so proud of the way you conduct yourself on and off the range. You are great ambassadors for TN S3DA and should be so proud of yourselves.
TN S3DA was definitely loud and proud during awards and we wouldn't want it any other way. Congratulations archers on a job well done!

and myself are so proud of the growth of the team!
Everyone has improved the skills greatly!!
