We raced at Cedar lake yesterday at the Arena for day 1 of the Mel Germain memorial in the Sportsman class, we were supposed to be in jr2 also but some stuff went wrong with that kart.

We qualified p4 witch is pretty good except starting on the outside.

We knew getting down was going to be half the battle for the feature but we knew we had a fast kart and were going to use it. We dropped to 5th made it to 4th got a little high in the corner and just snagged the wall with rear tire glad it was minor but a hard hit but luckily we were very lucky as it could have been a very bad wreck. We got sent to the back climbed back to 5th. We had a very fast kart but it is not an easy track to pass at. I was very upset at myself after the feature.
And I’m very regretting my decision to go to the banquet today and not race, mostly because we would have had a very good shot at top 3 or even winning.

Time to get ready for the last race of the year or so we think it will be, at Batsville,Mississippi for old Riley nationals

We didn’t get a win tonight at dodge county but it was our first time at the track so we did decent.

Heat 1- p4-p2 side by side finish
Heat 2- p1-p3 kart was ok track took half the nose out of the chat 😔
Feature- p3-p2 kart was to tight should have put different tires on
Congrats to all the winners
