Our Lady Flier wrestlers are absolutely crushing it at the Sandusky County Fair this week! 💪🤼‍♀️🐴🐇🐔

A huge congratulations to Samantha Young, who has had an incredible week showing off talents that go well beyond the wrestling mat!

🏆 Showman of Showmen – Horses
👑 2026 Sandusky County Jr. Fair Horse Queen
🐔 And she picked up a ribbon with her chicken, too!

And in a pretty cool Lady Flier connection, Sam finished Runner-Up in Rabbit Showman of Showmen to none other than her wrestling teammate and 2026 Sandusky County Fair Queen, Mallory Meggitt!

We love seeing our wrestlers compete, succeed, and represent themselves so well in everything they do. These girls aren't just tough on the mat — they're putting in the work and accomplishing some pretty amazing things outside of wrestling, too.

📣 REMINDER — This is the first Sunday of our new August schedule!

That means it’s SUE-NDAY! 🤼‍♀️

Coach Sugey Ceja will be in the Flight Club room today from 3–5 PM.

This is a great opportunity for girls from throughout the area to get some extra mat time and learn from one of the best women’s college wrestling coaches around!

Open to ALL girls, K–12+ — regardless of school or experience level.

Come get some work in with Coach Sue! 💪

📣 FLIGHT CLUB SCHEDULE UPDATE – EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! ✈️

With fall sports schedules getting into full swing, we're adjusting our Flight Club schedule for the month of August.

Beginning immediately, Flight Club will be held on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays. Please note that there will be NO practices on Tuesday or Wednesday this week as we transition to the new schedule.

Also, keep in mind that Coach Lance Overmyer heads back to school before the end of the month, so Monday, August 24 will be his final Flight Club practice this summer. We greatly appreciate Lance sharing his time and expertise with our wrestlers all summer long!

Whether you're brand new to wrestling or an experienced competitor, Flight Club is open to wrestlers of all skill levels, grades K–12+, from any school. Come get quality instruction, live wrestling, and extra mat time with an outstanding coaching staff.

Here's Coach Phillips' Xtreme Fitness and Sports Complex schedule for August.

With fall sports officially moving into their in-season schedules, Coach Sugey's practices will shift to Sundays beginning this week. That means there will be no practice with Coach Sugey Ceja tomorrow.

We'll be posting the complete August Flight Club schedule later today. Stay tuned!
