Today is .
Take the time today to check in with yourself.

🪷Where are you in your life?
🪷Is your “humanness” being ignored or celebrated?
🪷Do you make stillness time for yourself, i.e. not the “doing”

Often we bypass our emotions as insignificant or not as important as another persons (your kids, your spouse, your business) because you can deal with yours “later.” But later is now.

Today is a day to remind you to check in with yourself.

Sending love to you💞

It’s another moment, another memory watching my youngest graduate from middle school and onto upper school. We are so proud of you and the young man you are aspiring to be.
Its these moments that remind me of remembering to breathe thru the tears.
And knowing how precious a life really is. I am so grateful my heart is full. 💗

When my husband came to tell me the horrible news choking on tears and hugging me as we both cried for the children and teachers (“the most noble job” he said) of we felt the fear and anger simultaneously.

As a country, we are failing our children, our babies.

When people feel vindicated for their pain by killing other humans we have really f*cked up.

This divisive culture has to change.
Action needs to happen at the foundational level.

Stop with bullsh*t reasons to limit the amount of guns that are being made, bought, and sold by people who aren’t equipped to handle the responsibility. (18 yrs. old is too young for guns)

It’s time to take action!

The thing is happiness, like real happiness, is always
…and has always been…. an inside job.

When you know that, you can have everything you’ve ever wanted.

And how cute is this from ? A simple reminder I’m adding to my home. 🏡💗

I did a thing yesterday.

I did a treatment for my skin called .

I often get asked what I do for my skin to “look so young”.
And I’ll tell you the secret.

I was in a bad car accident when I was 16 (I was the passenger). I had over 100 stitches on my forehead and 4 fractures in my foot. 😱😳

I learned to take care of my skin that young-before it was cool and normal to apply sunscreen to your face. When you have a plastic surgeon telling you the only way to make your scar less visible is to wear 100 sunblock or cover it otherwise it’ll be dark and ugly-you listen!

Here’s what I learned so far:
🙌🏼Wear sunscreen or cover your face with a hat. Even though I do this I will still get tan so I reapply often.

🙌🏼 Do treatments that aren’t too invasive.
I believe that less is more. It’s a slippery slope to want to still look young. But at some point you have to accept that aging is a part of life.

🙌🏼Love on yourself with good foods. I rarely, if ever, eat fast-food. The only exception is a chick-fila waffle fry when my kids get it. 😝🤫 When I eat super clean and healthy my body, skin, and soul respond immediately! 😁

🙌🏼Meditate- you radiate naturally when you connect with your highest self. Or journal. It’s amazing how it helps the .

Let me know what helps you so we can make a list! 📝

XO,
M

How’s your Friday feeling?

I have to be honest, these past few weeks have required more of me emotionally.

The reality of the aftermath of covid’s effect on how life was once lived feels farther and farther away.

Plans have been erased and moments that were meant to be joyous are hanging by a thread as the collective tries to keep moving…despite it.

I’ve had more people I know pass in the last week than I have in total for the last year.

The amount of unexpected and unknown events in the last month have really challenged my faith.
It’s a period of navigating disappointments.

And it’s been hard to “be inspiring” when I really don’t know how I’m moving thru this time.
Except to do what I do.

I fall back on things I do know:

➡️ I start to take longer moments of quiet so I can hear my inner guidance.
➡️ I stop “expecting” things to normalize. They’re not. 😝
💯
➡️ I’m unbreakable.
➡️ I know I thrive in challenging times.
➡️ This will shape my life for the better.
➡️ It always works out, even if I don’t like it at the time or understand it. *this is definitely happening right now-lol!!
➡️ I allow my emotions to come up without judgment or trying to pretend I “shouldn’t” be upset because I’m grateful for my life.
➡️ I accept the duality of emotions that I have pretty much been happening on the daily.
I’m both sad and thankful.
I’m both frustrated as hell and realize there’s a lot Still happening for me.

I want you to know you’re not alone if any of this feels like you too. 🙌🏼

I hope this helps you, if even just for a moment.

Stay strong friends!💗

Michelle

I did something different today.

Right after my workout, I meditated.
Even though the floor is hard and cold.
Even though I don’t normally ever do that.
And it felt different!

I connected to my body and spirit in a different way.

The thing about resolutions is you go in with the end goal in mind,
And when you don’t deliver,
it feels like failure and disappointment.

Instead, take what you know and use it as a tool to flip how you usually do things.

Try a different drive to work.
Make a different meal.
Do a totally different workout than you’ve ever tried.

And then let it soak into your experience.

It makes a huge difference in how you experience this life.

Xo,
Michelle

P.s. Let me know if you’ve flipped your normal routine.
