If we had to pick one word to sum up the 2026 season, it would be frustration. This season has dealt us some challenges...

If we had to pick one word to sum up the 2026 season, it would be frustration. This season has dealt us some challenges that we couldn't have anticipated and boy has it been frustrating. There have been long hours/days/weeks in the shop, lengthy phone calls, watching video, and thrashing at the track trying to get the car back to what it was before the wreck at Woodhull. We are still missing something and we just can't seem to figure out what. The running joke has become how many times we have had the hood off the car in the pits, the record is currently 5 I think 😂However this group never given up and we are so grateful for everyone who has helped us along the way. Whether you offered advice or parts or just listened to us vent, we want to thank you all!! But we want to especially thank Aidan and Robbie . We appreciate you more than you know!!

With that being said onto last night's race recap. Because Cameron's last 3 finishes haven't been that great (11th, 8th and 11th) he started 2nd in his heat race. He finished 4th. After some major thrashing in the pits and a trip to Auto Zone and O'Reillys (Thank you Hasen Wetherbee!!!) Plus going the parts trailer....Cam started 3rd in the feature. He fell to 5th and was battling for 4th place when a red flag came out (grateful the driver involved was ok 🙏) When they went green again, Cameron's car wasn't as good as it was before the caution. He ultimately finished 9th when he got passed at the line at the checkered flags. He ran SO hard and tried everything he could to get faster. He searched all over the track to see what line would work. Unfortunately it just didn't seem to help. The next race isn't for a few weeks so we will take that time to regroup and go through the car again and see if we can figure out what we're missing.
