Nice come from behind win for the boys on Thursday. After a slow start, they got on the board in the bottom of the 2nd. The momentum really turned in the bottom of the 3rd after a home run by Preston! EK pitched 2 innings of 1 run ball and Carter closed it out with three innings of 1 run ball. EK and Carter combined for 10 Ks against the Rascals.

Grit, determination, perseverance can all be used to describe the boys this weekend. After struggling on Saturday, the boys dug deep and won back-to-back-to-back games on Sunday to walk out Champions with some sweet bling!

The boys outscored their three opponents on Sunday, 28-4 including a 8-1 victory in the championship game over a team they lost to on Saturday. It was a full team effort as every boy got on base and scored runs.

These boys are built tough, and part of that comes from the extra training we received thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, Jack Schmitt Ford of Collinsville!

A big congratulations to the boys on an outstanding weekend of baseball! Finishing 3–1 in the tournament, they battled all the way through the final moments of the championship game - and even beyond, into extras…twice. Every player contributed to the team’s success.

They went 2–0 in pool play, pulled off an exciting come-from-behind walk-off to reach the finals, and showed real grit in the championship game. They never gave up.

We’re most proud of their effort, attitude, and teamwork throughout the weekend. It’s going to be a fun season, and this was the perfect way to start it. A big thank you to all the parents and families for your support and energy. It makes a difference, and we appreciate it!

The event will be held over 3 days beginning today, Tuesday, January 20th through Thursday, January 22nd. This year, we are partnering with CYHS to provide mittens/gloves, hats and socks for newborns and children under 5 years old. If you would like to support our service project, please drop off new, unwrapped items in the donation box at the Extreme Annex or reach out to a member of the team to coordinate pick-up.
