Wrestle With Purpose: An Evening with Ben Kjar

Join us on Thursday, September 24 for an inspiring evening with Ben Kjar, NCAA Division I Wrestling All-American and star of STANDOUT: The Ben Kjar Story.

Ben will share his powerful story of resilience, determination, overcoming adversity, and living with purpose. His message reaches far beyond the wrestling mat and offers something meaningful for athletes, families, and our entire community.

This event is open to wrestlers, coaches, families, and community members. Everyone is welcome!

Girls high school wrestling continues to explode across the country. Participation reached a record 88,771 athletes during the 2025–26 season, a 19.9% increase in just one year, while 8,853 schools now sponsor the sport. Since 2021–22, participation has grown from 31,654 to 88,771, showing just how quickly girls wrestling has become one of the fastest-growing high school sports in America.

Two of my favorite people…Marcus Wilson… top notch jujutsu stud and owner of Wilson Bros. Grappling and Mark Munoz…former Oklahoma State University teammate, national champion and MMA hammer. Thanks for the surprise text and picture. Made my day! Some hammers in that OSU picture John Smith, Daniel Cormier, Charlie and Reggie. Good times.

BIG NEWS — THE WARRIORS ARE GROWING!
We’re excited to officially announce the continued expansion of the Mile High Warriors Wrestling Club! Our goal is simple: give wrestlers more opportunities to train, develop, compete, and become the best version of themselves—on and off the mat.

Beginning Wednesday, September 9, we are launching our Lewis Palmer High School Advanced training site! With the addition of Lewis Palmer, our Advanced wrestlers will now have the option to train up to 5 nights per week between our two
locations.

ADVANCED TRAINING SCHEDULE

Pine Creek High School
Tuesday • Thursday • Friday
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Lewis Palmer High School
Monday • Wednesday
6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Intermediate families: Even though your season doesn't start until October 5, our current 6:00PM–7:15 PM sessions are filling up. Registration and payment will secure your spot in that time slot. If those sessions reach capacity, additional 7:15–8:30 PM practices may be opened.

High school wrestlers also have a path beyond preseason. Once the high school season begins, wrestlers can continue receiving extra training and help from our club coaches. This is about more than adding another location. It’s about creating more mat time,
more coaching, more partners, and more opportunities for wrestlers who want to
grow.
